Chapter 18

Hey guys. I'm really sorry this is so late. I will hopefully be updating next Monday so I can update weekly, but the chapters will be shorter. At the moment, I'm not entirely happy with the way this story has turned out, and I don't have any ideas left to use for it. So if someone could help be, I'd be grateful. Also, I feel like the terror that was there at the start has gone and I want to bring some of the tension back but I don't know how. Please help??

Also, I can't remember if Alixe is human or not. If you could tell me I'd be grateful

I walked in the house and saw Ricky chatting with Alan and Austin. The two were holding each other close, both having their hands round each others waist. I smiled at their adorableness. I walked up to them and engulfed them both in a hug. " thank you for the kitten. I love her and so does Tyler!" I squealed. They both giggled and said it was no problem. " hey baby" Ricky said as I kissed his cheek and held him close. " hey gorgeous" I said and kissed his jaw again. You know, sometimes I forget Ricky is a vampire. And he is my blood mate. I felt his warm breath on my neck as he growled in my ear " you won't forget it later baby" I shivered and grinned. " go for it" I said with a wink and walked off to find the other guests.

I stood with Chris and Devin talking to them about future tours and records for Motionless. Someone caught their eye though as they both looked at each other and stopped talking. They shooed me to the staircase and made me stand there with Ricky who lead me to stand higher up than everyone else. He whistled loud, causing everyone to turn round to look at us. I watched in amusement as Kellin ran towards us but stopped when he realised why there was a whistle. I giggled and he smiled back.

" so today, you're all here for the beautiful Alixe. As you know it is her birthday, and I'd like to say some things. Alixe you are an amazing girl and I love you very much. You know all our secrets and you didn't run away and you didn't tell people. You are so special to a lot of people and such a loving and loveable person. I cannot begin to imagine what life would be like without you, and I can't begin to express how lucky I feel to have you in my life. Happy 20th birthday sweetheart" he picked up 2 glasses and handed one to me. " to another year of you in our lives, and another year of bliss. To Alixe" he said to everyone else. " to Alixe!!" They yelled and raised their glasses. I smiled and said " to family" they all smiled.

The party was in full swing and everyone was only tipsy, not drunk. There was not a lot of alcohol as people knew I wasn't a big fan of it.

I had been talking to Nikki Misery for a while but decided to go and find Ricky. My chest was beginning to hurt and that only happened when a mate goes too far away or does something with someone else... I was kind of hoping it would be neither...

I walked around the house clutching my chest. My eyes were filling with tears but I didn't know why. " hey, Ali what's wrong?" I felt an arm round my waist and looked up to see Alan. " I don't know" I said breathing heavily. " stay right here. I'm gonna go and get Ashley" I nodded and watched him jog into the crowd. I walked up the stairs ignoring what Alan said, desperately wanting Ricky.

I opened his bedroom door to see him on the bed, over a girl, her moaning and him biting into her neck. I screamed and held my chest, feeling the pain getting more intense, and the tears filling with reason. He looked up and saw me standing there, holding onto the door frame. I heard feet behind me and felt hands on my waist. " hey, it's okay" I heard. Ricky wiped his mouth and came towards me. " I can explain baby" he tried to touch my arm but I moved into the chest of the person behind me. I sobbed, probably getting makeup on their chest. I then realized it was Ashley. " give her time Rick" I heard, before I was picked up and carried to a room. " I'm meant to be staying in here tonight, but you can sleep here instead" I smiled as I was placed on the bed. " thank you Ashes" he smiled and grabbed a makeup wipe, clearing my face of smeared makeup. " here, let me change you" I nodded and sat up, ash helping me out of my dress, and into one of his shirts and his sweats. " thank you so much ashes" he nodded and kissed my cheek, hugging me tightly, before tucking me in the bed and leaving.
