"You know, I'm REALLY starting to hate in laws!" grumbled Demon as everyone piled into the Mystery Machine. "Because they cause nothing but trouble?" asked Starchild. "Only when it comes to Cleo." said Fred pressing on the gas. The Mystery Machine began speeding down the street until Daphne noticed something out the side window. "Jeepers! Here comes that vehicle again!" she cried. "Oh no! Like everyone brace themselves!" cried Shaggy diving under the seat followed by Scooby. "Uh, Shaggy, I think that's just going to make it worse." said Spaceman looking under the seat. "Does it REALLY matter when it comes to those two?" asked Demon blandly. "Hang on, everyone! Looks like we're going to be driven off the road! And that's putting it mildly!" said Fred noticing the car behind them had blasters attached to it. "That can't be good!" yelled Catman. "What was your first clue!?" yelled Velma. "Seriously, WHAT does that driver have against us!?" asked Spaceman as Fred swerved to get away as best as he could. "Zoinks! Like if only Cleo were here and not where ever she is right now!" cried Shaggy poking his head out from under the seat. "Reah!" agreed Scooby with a whimper. "You know, it's be a WAY less of a bumpy ride if you two got back up here!" said Catman in annoyance. "No way, man! Like Scoob and I choose life! Right, Scoob?" asked Shaggy. "Right!" agreed Scooby. "You two DO realize your risking breaking your necks, right?" asked Demon crossing his arms. "Like why didn't you say so, Mr. Demon!?" asked Shaggy with a nervous laugh as he and Scooby jumped back up and quickly refastened their seat belts. "Uh, guys, take a look at whose in the car next to us!" said Fred. "Oh you have GOT to be kidding me!" said Velma. "I swear if he weren't already dead, I'd kill him!" said Demon noticing the people in the long gold, red, and blue vehicle were Cleo's brother and his friends. "What do they think they're doing anyway?" asked Daphne. "Judging by the looks we're getting, I'd say there about as surprised as we are." said Starchild. " I say we get to Cleo first and ask questions later." said Spaceman. "Fine, but they owe us an explanation about trying to run us over since we got here!" yelled Fred pressing down harder on the gas pedal as the Mystery Machine picked up speed. "If Cleo doesn't try to skin is alive first." said Catman. "Like don't jinx it, man!" cried Shaggy. Out of nowhere, Fred stepped hard on the gas pedal causing the Mystery Machine to come to a screeching halt. "Seriously, Fred, again!?" asked Velma readjusting her glasses. "Sorry everyone! The road ends here." said Fred. "Woah! It really DOES look like a war zone here!" cried Catman. "I'll say, it looks like a quarry with all this limestone lying around." said Daphne. "Nice of you all to finally show up." said Cleo carefully walking over all the rubble. "Cleo, your alright!" cried Daphne. "Quite." replied Cleo crossing her arms. "What happened?" asked Fred placing a hand in his pocket. "Well, I was walking to clear my head when all of a sudden one of these things grabbed me out of nowhere." said Cleo gestering to the pile of rubble below her. "You mentioned something about your mom's ankh over the phone. What exactly did you mean by that?" asked Velma curiously. "Velma, do you really believe I did all this myself?" asked Cleo cocking a brow. "Like I don't care how you did it I just want to get out of here!" cried Shaggy grabbing his head. "You've been wanting to leave since we got here." said Demon. "So if you didn't do all this then who did?" asked Fred. "Need you ask?" asked Cleo cocking a brow. "She's got a point considering who her mom is." said Spaceman. "Hey! Who got all the Shabtis before us!?" "Well, Fred, it would appear you finally figured out who's been trying to run us over." said Cleo. "Very funny, Cleo!" said Fred in annoyance. "What part of that was sarcasm exactly?" asked Cleo. "Just let him be for now, Cleo." said Starchild. Cleo raised a brow but deemed it wise to keep her mouth shut for the time being. "Man, I knew you guys were good at mystery solving, but I didn't know you could kick tut as well!" said the boy. "Uh, I think you mean butt, kid." said Demon. "Also we didn't do this, Cleo did. Well technically her mom but that's beside the point." said Spaceman. "She had to call her mummy for help! Man, Rath, your sister is weak!" said Nefertina. "Down, Cleo, down!" cried Fred holding Cleo back. "Dude, seriously, like quit insulting her mom! Like she's the LAST person you want ticked off!" said Shaggy. "That's putting it mildly." said Catman. "Also, you DO realize your also insulting your friend's mother at the same time seeing as though their brother and sister, yes?" asked Fred. "Which means in a way your insulting your friend too." said Daphne. "Hey! Wait a moment, she's right!" yelled Rath glaring at Nefertina. "Hey, that reminds me, WHO is your mom, Rath?" asked the boy. "Uh...funny story actually." said Fred. "We met her about a month ago when we went to Egypt." said Starchild. "Yeah, and she sent Cleo and I on a wild goose chase the entire trip." said Demon rolling his eyes. "At least you finally realized I wasn't seeing things." said Cleo. "Cleo, why don't you at least show your brother the photo you always carry around with you?" asked Catman. "I suppose." said Cleo with a sigh digging into her purse and taking out the old photograph of her parents. "Uh, Rath, why does one parent look alive and the other a mummy?" asked the one armed mummy. "Because he wasn't born in your time." said Cleo crossing her arms. "What?" asked Rath in disbelief. "Mother told me herself. She sent you into the past to protect you. She said it was because she and father couldn't openly express their love for one another. And she was right. Father was killed back when I was just a child and I was basically left to survive all on my own." explained Cleo. "You forgot about the part where...OW!" yelled Fred rubbing his rib cage. "Zip it!" warned Demon. "Maybe that's why your so good at building things, Rath." said the boy. "Father DID have a knack for building things if I remember correctly." said Cleo with a thoughtful look on her face. "If what your saying is true, why weren't YOU sent into the past as well?" asked the blue eyed mummy. "Father convinced Mother to let Adelram and I remain in the present. Though she did want the three of us together." said Cleo cocking a brow. "Adelram?" asked Rath crossing his arms. "Our brother. However do NOT get me started on him lest you want to feel MY power!" warned Cleo crossing her arms. "Believe us, that's a side of Cleo you NEVER want to see." said Starchild. "Especially when it comes to him." said Demon. "Alright..well now, if MOTHER  did all this...." Rath paused to gesture to the ruins below them. "How DID she do it!?" "Four words; Army of the Undead." said Cleo counting each word off her fingers.
