Chapter VIII: Netflix

I'm still at our room and was still staring at his jacket.

I didn't notice that Cindy was back.

"hey! what ya' got there?" she asked.

I quickly hide the jacket behind me and said;

"it was nothing, really."

"Oh darling, you can't hide something from me" she replied.

She sat beside me and kinuha yung jacket sa likod ko.

"Oh God. You have Klein's jacket! how? when? why?" she asked.

"First, how did you know him? Second, I don't know, Third, Awhile ago, Fourth, he wrapped it around me nung hindi ako nakatingin then he said I was showing too much skin"

"Aeona, my love, Naglaban kami sa quiz bee dati and also, you just made the famous campus crush fall in love with you! How did you do it?" she asked again.

"I-I don't know... I just hate him!"

"The more you hate, the more you love" She said while patting my head.

"I'll be going now. Zane and I have sand castles to build. Wanna join?" she added.

"Nah. You guys enjoy yourselves. I'll just stay here and watch netflix, I guess" I replied.

"Ok then, baibai, loveya!" she said while exiting the door.

Alone again, ey?

I was watching To all the boys I've loved before, when I heard a knock.

Ok, that's not Cindy at all, cause' if that's her, she wouldn't knock.

I opened the door at bumungad si Mr. Not-so-charming-who-gave-his-jacket-to-me.

"A-ano kailangan mo?" I asked.

"I was looking for you. Akala ko nga nalunod ka na. Tinanong ko pa boybest mo but he doesn't know. Buti nalang kasama niya si Cindy"

Daming dada, tinatanong ko lang naman kung anong kailangan niya. Nilunod pako ah, lawak ng imagination.

"Ano ba kailangan mo?" I asked again.

"Ikaw" deretso niyang sabi.

"I mean, nood nalang tayo. Samahan kita dito" he added.

"Ha?! n-no! magagalit si Cindy" I freaked out. What?! Me and him?! NO. NO. NO.

"I've already asked her and pwede daw ako magstay dito" he replied.

Damn it room buddy, Cindy!

He opened the door widely at pumasok. Umupo siya sa bed ko at tinignan ang phone ko. Papansin ah, tch!

"Why do you watch netflix on your phone? Anong silbe nung T.V.?" he said.

He grabbed my phone, binuksan yung T.V.  at nilog-in yung netflix account niya.

"Hey!!" I yelled.

"What?" he asked while one of his eyebrow was raising.

"n-nothing" I said.

"Hey?" he called.

I looked at him and plastered a questioning face.

"I'm sorry nung binangga kita sa convenience store. You're right, It doesn't make me any cooler, pero I'm happy kase yun nga, I met you."

I turned red and quickly covered it.

Wooh, he knows how to apologize.

"It's okay" I said while smiling at him.

We were watching ng biglang pumasok na si Cindy.

"Hey there peeps! Cindy is back! Aeona, I ordered food para dito nalang tayo kumain. Klein, you can go na, Zane is waiting for you" she said sweetly with a bit craziness.

"Ok, bye Aeona" Klein said, then he gave me a very goofy smile before exiting our room.

"what happened?!" Cindy asked excitedly.

"nanood lang kami ng netflix and yun, bati na kami" I said.

"Nye, boring. Bukas ulit!"

I gave her the 'no' look, then she gave me the 'yes look'.

Pagkatapos namin kumain ng food na inorder ni Cindy, We talked for awhile then natulog na.
