Chapter 2

"Did you tell them why you wanted them to come"? Damon asks me.

" No I just told them it was important." I say to damon as the front door of the boarding house opens. Caroline is in the house first followed by stefan, bonnie, Matt, Jeremy, tyler and....Katherine.

"Who invite the bitch"? Damon asks

" Well I was just hanging out with your little brother again so I thought I would come too." Katherine says smirking

"Again? How long have you too been besties"? Caroline butts in.

"Okay how about we get on with what you came here for" I say to save Stefan from embarrassment. Everyone one takes a seat on a couch except katherine who is leaning against a wall.

" What is it you wanted to tell us elena"? Jeremy asks me.

" Me and Damon have decided on something really big." I say nervously. Damon laces his fingers around mine and gives me an encouraging smile.

"Well come on we don't have all day". katherine says.

" We are....we're....umm." I try to get the words out but I can't. I know all of them will be supportive of my...well damon and my decision but I can't help feel nervous anyway.

" Elena and I are going to take the cure". damon says for me.

Katherine spits out the wine she was drinking and tyler falls of the arm of the chair. Caroline's eyes have gone extremely wide but Stefan and jeremy are more happy than surprised.

" This has to be a joke right? Like a early April fools day joke" Katherine asks after recovering from her coughing fit.

" No Katherine we are not joking and if you don't shut your mouth I will come over there and smash your head against the wall" damon smirks at Katherine.

" I'm happy for you Elena" Matt smiles at me. " I'm just surprised that damon agreed."

" Yeah I thought damon would be the last one to take the cure out of all as. " Caroline says speaking for the first time.

"Well I happen to love Elena and I will do anything for her." Damon says looking into my eyes. If we didn't have a crowd I would kiss damon and we both know what that would lead to. I tear my eyes from damons and look back to the others. Stefan looks a little worried but I can tell he is happy for us. tyler looks a bit bored and Matt just won't stop smiling. Then I realise bonnie hasn't said anything yet. I look over to where she is siting and she is crying. I quickly walk over to her and give her a hug.

" Are you okay bonnie." I ask.

" I'm more than okay Elena. I'm just so happy." She says

" So when are you guys going to take the cure." I hear caroline ask damon. So I walk over to him to join the conversation. Just as i start to sit down damon pulls me into his lap. I smile at his sweet gesture.

" We haven't decided on that part yet". damon says to caroline while rubbing my lower back.

" Well me and Matt will leave you to it. We are going to the gym." Tyler says to us before leaving the house with Matt.

" I think I will go to. Will you be okay" my brother asks me. I nod and he follows the others. I am glad my friends are starting to leave because I really want to spend some time alone with damon.

" Come on Stefan, we should go and finish what we were doing before." Katherine says in a sedusive voice and she practically struts down the hall and out the door.

" Listen guys it's not what you think it is." Stefan explains

" It's ok little bro we really don't give a crap that your having sex with Katherine. I mean it's gross but I don't care." Damon say to Stefan. I can't help but notice that caroline looks upset. I don't know why but I will have to ask her about that later.

" I am not sleeping with her damon. I am just helping her out." Stefan answers back and Caroline's eyes brighten up slowly. And with that Stefan stands up and leaves the room as well.

" We are so happy for you Elena. And you too damon." Bonnie says not liking that she told damon she happy for Him too. I love my best friends so much and even more so when they respect my choices.

" let's go bonnie and leave these love birds alone" caroline says cheerfully.

" Bye" damon and I say at the same time.

As soon as the front door shuts damon lips are on mine. They are soft at first but suddenly become hard and fast. His tongue slips into mouth and I let out a moan. Damon grabs me by the hips and lays me down on the couch without breaking our fiery kiss.

" If this is going to be our last time doing this as vampires, I want it to be our best ever." He says into my mouth. My hands tug at the bottom of his shirt. He breaks the kiss just long enough for me to take off his shirt. Once his shirt is off damon kisses along my jaw and down my neck.

"I love you so much" damon moans in my ear.

" Should we do this in my bedroom." He asks threading his hand through my hair.

" Yes " I say to him. I'm not sure if he heard me or not but when his hands wrap underneath me and pick me up I know he has. I wind my legs around damon waist and kiss him as he walks us to his bedroom.
