"She's not even my true sister...", a voice said.
The voice belonged to Theo.

A single tear escaped from my eyes as I ran back to my room. I entered and locked the door before sliding to the floor. Bringing my knees to myself and hugging them I rocked back and forth as I tried to calm down from the shock I had recieved. I barely knew Theo but I still had faith in him because I knew one thing for sure that he was my brother and no matter what I had to protect and love the only family I had left with me... but now I felt nothing, nothing but emptiness. In that same crouched position somehow sleep came to me.

I woke up to the sun's rays falling on my face. I was still on the floor as last night's events came to me, I decided not to mention anything to either of them. I finished my daily routine and went downstairs in black trackpants and a white hoodie. I found Aaron in the kitchen cooking something. I went up to him and asked," What are you making?".

He flinched at my voice and after taking a breath spoke," Can you try not to be so creepy next time?".

I shrugged my shoulders and repeated my question. He said," I'm making pancakes".
I nodded my head and asked again," Do you have a laptop around here?"

"Yes sure we do...but why do you need it?".

I ignored his question and asked him," Do you have any information related to Ryan?"

"...Yes I do but why are you asking me all this?".

"Nothing important, now tell me whats on my schedule today?", I asked as he brought two plates full of pancakes to the dining. I followed him and sat down to eat while still looking at him for an answer. He sat down and said while looking at me," You'll be training everyday from today onwards so that you can protect yourself in difficult situations... you know what I mean". I nodded my head and quickly ate my breakfast.

He led me to the basement of the house. The whole basement was divided into three sections- hand to hand combat, weapons room and lastly daily training. Each of the rooms were divided by a glass partition and their doors were also made of glass. the walls of the basement was a metallic grey. The combat room had mattresses and nothing else. The weapon's room had all the weapons on the back wall of the room. The range of weapons included knives, various guns and others which I was unable to recognise. The training room had a punching bags, weights and other various equipment.

"Theo told me that you have learnt the basics of training as you attended self defense classes since you were eight so you should start with the basics and catch up as you were out of practice for almost a year, am I right? ", Aaron asked. I nodded and stepped into the training room. I went up to the punching bag first.I started punching furiously as various questions popped in my head.

Why do I always get lied to? First Granpa lied to me about my parents and then Theo saying that I'm not even his sister... The only person who I trusted and did not lie to me is Jane and she is also taken away from me. Why? Why does this always happen to me? Aaron looks trustworthy but still both him and Theo are hiding something from me as proved from their sudden silence whenever I enter the room while talking to me. I swear...

Two hands gripped mine preventing me from punching anymore. As I was broken from my daze I noticed my bloody knuckles and the slight pain in the muscles of my arms from punching for too long. I followed the hands that gripped mine only to be met with a wooried expression on Aarons face. I sighed and loosened my fists.

"Is everything fine?".

"I'm fine... just leave me alone for sometime", I said as I went out of the room and headed out of the basement to my room.
