Chapter 4

- Mike's POV -

I woke up to find myself all tied up and in a new apartment. My jaw hurt a lot and then I recalled the events of last night. Now I knew that I was at Tracy's apartment but, where was she? I rolled and fell off the couch. She had tied my legs but not that tightly so after a few wiggles the rope came off. I got off the floor and went to the edge of her dining table, it was quite sharp so i cut the ropes that bound my hands by rubbing them against the edge. I decided to look for her in the apartment incase she was in the other room. Unfornunately no one was there. Her front door was unlocked so I stepped out. Suddenly, a thought came to my head that she must have gone back to Jane's house. "Oh Shit!!!", I said as I ran as fast I could to Jane's house.

I arrived and found the front door wide open, I immediately rushed to Jane's room. I was taken aback when I found blood sprinkled on the floor and the walls. I feel on my knees as all hope to get Jane back left me and the memory of yesterday night flooded into my mind.

- flashback -

I heard a crash from Jane's room and suggested to Tracy that I should go and check. I carefully stepped into Jane's room when someone placed a knife against my neck and whispered into my ear," I know that Jane is in trouble and it is all because of that girl Tracy, if I wanted I could have killed you but I owe you as you took care of Jane for me all these years so I will leave you, but I swear that I am going to kill that Tracy".

I recognised that the voice belonged to Jane's sister Gabrielle. I slowly turned around to face her and said in a low voice," Tracy is the only way we can get Jane back alive, so we need her alive". She sighed and said," that's true but you have to take her away from me because I will lose my control once I see her and then who knows what will happen". I replied," ok, thanks for the favour I'll do my best to keep her out of your sight". 

" Now get out of here before I change my mind, and..... get Jane back as soon as possible", she said as her voice broke and a tear slid down her face.

I tried to think of where Gabrielle would have taken Tracy as, the location came to my my mind - her parent's house. The house was located on the outskirts of the city in a pretty isolated area. That was the only option I had so I decided to go there.

- Tracy's POV - 

I woke up to myself tied to a chair. After sometime, I heard footsteps approaching me. It was completely dark so i could not see any thing. the footsteps stopped in front of me.

" You are quite a fighter, aren't you?", I heard a familiar voice say. The voice was sweet like Jane's except that it was cold and filled with hate and bitterness. Then it suddenly struck me...

" Are you Gabrielle?", i asked. the next moment something sharp sliced across my face, missing my eyes by inches. Blood trickled down my face and onto my shirt. I gritted my teeth in pain.

" I'm the only one who will ask questions here, now where is my sister?".

" I d-don't know", I said through my gritted teeth. Just then I felt something cold smack my head. More blood started to trickle down, the pain was too much for me to handle. Spots appeared in my vision as I felt disconnected with her voice. 

"DON'T LIE TO ME, TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!!!!!!!," she shouted.

"I-I....", I started to say, only to get hit in the head and in the arm by the cold metal block.

"ANSWER ME!!!", she screamed at the top of her lungs but, I was slowly slipping into darkness. 

"Stop Gabrielle you'll kill her", said a familiar voice but I was too unfocused to recognize it.

"NO!!", screamed gabrielle. The room suddenly brightened and I shut my eyes as the light blinded me. 

"No..", said the voice and then I heard a terrible scream full of pain and anger pierce the air. That was the last thing I heard before the darkness engulfed me.
