Sideways Encounter

That carnival was bright and loud,
Scarlet blood made the night prowls forever.
A rhymester writing his heart will be avowed,
Duke of Dawn, peace and war ties dissever.

The pawns ride upheaval like a rollercoaster.
In every darkness, I search for heavy blue.
High or low, fast or slow, bring the souls closer—
Steep slopes are nothing more; build a statue.

Dark night sky as limited sour candies,
Scenery of noble eyes, a Magellanic cloud.
Thou art fair; dance after the storm in alleys,
Once a rhymester, his heart will pound.

At the end of the ride, pawns asked for one more.
The rhymester and Duke of Dawn fled away.
The carnival is an illusion, such folklore—
Both of them became statues of cliché.

Neither a soul nor Hades can tell what will happen,
If the world isn't kilometers apart.
The rollercoaster ride from London to Manhattan—
Must be full of mémoire; it pierced the heart.
