Saturday had finally rolled around and I was excited to go to a party - for the first time in ages.

Me and Aleisha were at Molly's to get ready.
As the two of them got themselves ready, I thought about how pretty they both were.
Molly had dark curly hair, to her shoulders and really striking, icy blue eyes.
Aleisha was like your ultimate 'girl next door' type, she was a blond with bluey-green eyes.
I'd always been jealous of both of them having blue eyes.

I made the best of what I had... Which to me, didn't seem like much.
My hair was very flat but when I curled it, it gave it a some extra life. My hair would probably fall under blonde but it's definitely more 'bronde' and my eyes were a confusing colour that I never really pinned. It was hard to get a straight answer when I asked anyone what colour my eyes were - everyone seemed to have a different opinion.

The three of us weren't exactly in the 'popular' bracket but we were quite friendly, so got by just fine.

While we were getting reading we had a few drinks to get us going.

It was easy to find the party by following the music as we approached the street.
I don't know how someone could ever get away with holding a house party... If my parents every sussed a party, they'd execute me.

We walked straight through the open door and into the hallway, which was choc full of people.
The blasting music hit me like a brick wall when I entered and I didn't understand how anyone was maintaining a conversation.

We moved into the living room, where there was actually plenty of space.
The three of us danced about before a tipsy Michael and Calum found us.

As soon as Aleisha laid eyes on Michael we knew we'd lost them.

They left us to do couple things.

After Aleisha and Mikey left, it was just the trio of me, Molly and Calum. We were used to being together as a three now because Aleisha and Michael always found a way to ditch us.
We always had a good time together.

We pushed our way through everyone, to the kitchen. Where we spent some time trying to mix some very questionable drinks, that were probably lethal.
We didn't really care though and necked them down before heading back out to dance some more.

I spotted Ashton across the room (I guess he was friends with some people there).
Backed by the couple of drinks inside me, I decided to go and talk to him.

"Hey, how's the party going for you?" I smiled at him.

"Pretty good, thanks!" He grinned and then he cocked his head to the left, "were you in KFC the other day?" I was really happy but surprised he rembered.

"Yeeep, that was me! Y'know, I thought you were cute." I told him.
Alcohol really was liquid confidence.

After that, we got talking. Ashton was really funny. Not only that, he thought I was cute too.
Ashton Irwin thinks I'm cute.

I was a bit starstruck still, given that he was the only one of the boys I didn't know (even though they weren't even famous yet).

By the end of the night, we'd given up talking.

Having already lived a different life, I'd kissed plenty of people but I realised, the next day, it was my first kiss, chronologically.

The party sort of sloped away after Ashton left.

People were getting messy drunk and some were getting rowdy so, I decided to relocate my friends and leave.

A lot had happened between all of us and we exchanged stories until we all crashed sometime around 3.
