Chapter 11 (Cute and innocent bunny)
Yibo is now in his room looking at his trembling hand that holds the mysterious boy with his back facing the door and looking out at the window and still swiveling his chair.
He heard a bang and footsteps approaching his desk. Yibo did not turned his head around because he knew that only one, only one person in the earth can come into his room without knocking and that is his brother Hai Kuan.
"Hi, little brother, what's with that deep thought" Hai Kuan move closer to his little brother Yibo
"Ehmmm.....nothing?" Yibo turns around and face his brother
"What brings you here, ge" Yibo asks fondly as the brothers are close in their won ways
"Hey, why can't I visit my little bro, eh.....by the way...what's with that staff gathering and meals, er..." Hai Juan raise a brow to look at his brother
"Oh...mmmm....just fishing someone out...." Yibo answer frankly
"What...good fish or bad fish...er...need my help" Hai Kuan looks serious and wanting to help his brother
"A mysterious and cute one...." Yibo answer looking in deep thoughts
"What...you are confusing me" Hai Kuan looks at his brother
"I know.....I ...am ...also..." Yibo looks at his own hand that had shaken the boy's hand.
"What!!!!, Yibo you had never felt lost before...always know what to do...." Hai Kuan couldn't believe his brother looking hesitantly.
"Brother....how do you make someone likes you" Yibo asks shyly. Hai Kuan knew something is not right because Yibo only calls him brother when he has something serious and he needed help.
"WHAT!!!, WHAT AGAIN!!!!, who wouldn't like Wang Yibo, the handsome and most eligible bachelor, my Gosh!!!!!, the person must be an idiot or maybe BLIND" Hai Kuan couldn't believe anyone not liking his brother
"A cute and innocent bunny" Yibo reply with some sadness in his eye
"Come on lion, tell me the story...eh.." Hai Kuan pursue because they are really close sibling
Yibo finally gave in because other than his brother, there is no one that he would share his story with. He told Hai Kuan all about his encounter with Zhan from the mall to the Resort. Hai Kuan listened with his mouth agape and deep interest.
"Wow!!!!!, you saved him, bro, but why...is he hiding..." Hai Kuan asks
"I don't know...I think this is all too shock and he is too afraid or I don't know...shy..maybe...urghhh... ge, I don't know" Yibo frustratedly reply
"You really like him, wait ...what about Zoey er" Hai Kuan laughs
"You know that is to keep uncle mouth shut...nothing more" Yibo turns cold with the mentioning of Zoey's name
"ok, ok...so, the boy works in the company I assumed, mmmm....he wore mask and hide himself" Hai Kuan is in deep thought
"Di... you also don't know much about him, although, I see you have fallen so deeply" Yibo blush and his ears is pink
"But......you probably be wise to find out more about him, his interest, his life.....also, man...come on create opportunity for him to work together with you...to get to know you...LOVE comes both ways" Hai Kuan gave his sincere opinion.
"Search for his projects in Uni, he is a tech guy, see if his project can be useful for our company, then you can work together with him"
"Also, since he is not sure or shy...Yibo pretend you don't know or forget about him, so that he can relax or be natural before you and don't need to hide in a mask." Hai Kuan has a light bulb moment and is truly proud of himself.
"I don't even know if he is straight or........" Yibo trail away
"Yibo, you yourself also don't know till now, how can you say it is not the same for him. It is not the gender issue now....it is the love between two humans" Hai Kuan encourages him
"You keeps saying his is cute, I am so interested to know who he is" Hai Kuan laughs
"NOOOO....YOU DON"T EVEN THINK OF IT " Yibo shouted, knowing his brother would want to find out more about his mysterious guy.
"Wow!!!!!, already so possessive... I am only trying to help you..., I am scare now, when the lion roars, the jungle shakes. Poor cute and innocent bunny " Hai Kuan laughs at his brother possessiveness and begins to hide under the sofa. Which earns Yibo a chase in the luxurious office, two top notch executives playing hide and seek, which they could only do it behind closed doors. The PAs of both the executives, Hai Kuan's and Yibos, leaning their ears on the door, hearing the laughter and they just looked at each other in daze.
So, for the next few days, Yibo was very careful about his move, yes, his move.
He sent one of his young bodyguard James to trail Zhan at a distance and he restrict himself not to go and visit Zhan or do anything to him so that Zhan can settle and relax in his company. He also sent his good friend Seoungyoun to research on Zhan University project so that he can find something or some way to talk to get close to Zhan. All these were his ground work to get to know Zhan.
Of course, there were always times that his mobile phone will beep with James reporting where is Zhan, his lunch area with who and who, every details were always given to Yibo. Yibo noticed that Zhan always hang around with his brother Cheng for all the meal times, which also make Yibo slightly jealous but ok with it. Worst is there is Yubin who also hang around and thus a thorough investigation on Yubin were instructed
"Sir, Yibin, 25 years old, friend of Jiang Cheng in University and have a girlfriend Mary for a year." James reported
"Mn....ok" Yibo reply
"Sir...that boy loves to sit at the fountain to watch the music, sir" James reply.
"I know" Yibo reply, this is because everyday Yibo would open his wide window and use his binocular to look at Zhan sitting munching and chatting while looking at the fountain. Yibo loves the way Zhan so carefreely enjoying his lunch and the surrounding.
Next strategies for Yibo this week.
Yibo had decided to pretentiously walk around the fountain during lunch time but not seeing Zhan with his bodyguard. So his car is now parking at the front entrance instead of the basement to pick up Yibo
This afternoon.
"Wow!!!!! Zhan look the CEO with his entourage, walking in front of us" Yubin yells
Zhan immediately tries to dart but Yibo just look ahead and take a side glance and pretend not to recognise Zhan
"Zhan, relax, I think the CEO do not recognise you at all, so this is good and fine" Cheng told him
"Er...ok" Zhan felt a pant and some sadness in his eyes when he look ahead and saw the handsome young boss walking straight and took a glance at him and did not even acknowledge him
Zhan thought is "Why should he acknowledge me... er...I am only a small fly in the company..." sadness claim his heart. However, in his confused thought, he also wonder "why he wanted the young boss to acknowledge him, isn't it better that his boss doesn't remember him or know who he is?" all these thoughts and confusion crowd his mind and he just continue to munch his lunch sadly without anyone noticing the bitterness that creep in his taste and heart.
