Chapter 48 (A Qualified Boyfriend)
"I DISAGREE" suddenly Zhan stands up and announce. All the heads that are nodding, are now freezing on the spot.
Yibo was especially shock that Zhan is usually shy but he spoke out loud. Immediately Yibo turns his head around and look at Zhan with puzzling eyes.
"Zhan, what do you want and think?" Yibo ask with much tenderness and all eyes are at Zhan waiting for him to explain himself.
Zhan gulp his salvia and looks at everyone, Zhan is usually a soft spoken person unless he is playing with his brother Jiang Cheng. Zhan knows that everyone is waiting for his reply but he is nervous, however, Yibo holds his hand under the table and squeeze it slightly. Zhan feels a surge of energy transmitting from his love to him. Zhan looks at Yibo and gives him a smile and with a confident nod and he square his shoulder and muscle up his courage.
"I feel that the event shouldn't be cancel. I am well enough to attend. We have prepare this for a few months, the media is already aware. I know that everyone is worry about my health. But I confidently feels that I am fine" Zhan told everyone
"Are you sure?" Yanli the one who always mother Zhan is truly full of concern.
"Jie, those are just external wounds, my internal healing is faster with all the love I received especially from everyone...ahemm...from Yibo" Zhan lower his head shyly but you know who is now sitting on the cloud and the hearts is throbbing against his rib cage. Yibo is so happy that if not for everyone there, he would holds Zhan and kiss him senselessly.
"OK, I am hearing that Yibo is a better doctor than those qualified ones here, he heal Zhan with his love, hmmmm...that explains the swollen lips...heee"
Hai Kuan couldn't help but to tease the lovebirds especially his little brother.
"GE!!!!!, you always have to make fun of everything" Yibo give Hai Kuan a cold glare and Hai Kuan pretend to hide behind Yan Mei and he knows that Yibo has a soft spot for Yan Mei as a big sister.
"I am really fine, the event is really important to Yibo and me because we founded this together. I feel that nothing. no one, no matter how should stop or even delay this event. I am fine and let's hold the launch tomorrow night" Zhan asks full of confident and seeking everyone approval.
Senior Wang and everyone is nodding their head but Yan Mei speaks up
"Ok. Zhan, can Dr Jin and I check on you again with Yanli, just to be very sure" Yan Mei asks with full of concern.
"Yes Zhan, also tonight, you should just stay here and I will take care of you, I will arrange for the clothes to be send from your home to here" Yibo ask Zhan, honestly, Yibo just doesn't want to risk Zhan disappearing again.
"I think it is a good idea for Zhan to stay here and let YIbo takes care of him" Hai Kuan speaks with all seriousness. Yibo couldn't believe his ears that his cheeky brother is supporting him with all seriousness and then
"B-But?" Hai Kuan raise his voice and then he halt
"But what?" Yan Mei asks
"We also needs to give medication to Yibo to lessen his possessiveness and aggressiveness towards Zhan" Hai Kuan then burst into loud laughs follows by the others. Everyone couldn't help themselves and holds onto their stomach and laughs. Yibo couldn't take it anymore and he stand up and chase Hai Kuan around the dinning table
"STOP!!!!!, or I ask Yan Mei to give you a heavier dose" Hai Kuan shouts during the chase.
Yibo is now all red and he puff his cheek and Senior Wang has to take responsibility to stop the Wang brothers who seems to forget their table manners
