Chapter 10
Sweet and Salty
The turf war started and Army and Aloha burst off the platform and inked everything in sight. On the other hand, Amy's parents were skimming through places to get them later.
Soon enough Army came across his dad. They stood face to face waiting for the other to make a move.
"Oh, little Armée. You know you aren't a match for your père! (father!)" his dad teased.
"We'll see about that!" Army said as he charged at his enemy.
His father dodged his attack and inked the ground underneath Army's feet causing him to get stuck and move slowly.
Army turned around and tried to shoot his father but once again, he dodged. Army's dad then moved back enough so that he could reach Army, but Army couldn't reach him.
"Pauvre (poor) boy," he said as he splatted his son.
Army respawned and grumbled. He shook it off and then jumped to where Aloha was hiding.
"What happened? I thought you had him!" Aloha whisper shouted.
"I just slipped up! It won't happen again," Army reassured his lover.
Aloha nodded and slowly moved towards the enemy base but was soon stopped when he slowed down. He was stuck in toxic mist!
He heard Army's mom giggle but he couldn't see where she was.
Suddenly Aloha was shot from two directions. Both Army's parents were shooting at him! Aloha tried to dodge but he failed. This resulted in him going all the way back to spawn.

GAME!!
Army and Aloha completely lost 70.8% to 24.8%.
"We've still reçu! (got it!)" Army's mom exclaimed.
"Beginners luck!" Army retorted.
"Someone's salty~" Aloha teased.
"Shut!" Army yelled. "Rematch?"
"Only if you're ready to perdre (lose) again!" his dad chuckled.

The 4 inklings played rounds, rounds, rounds, and rounds until it was almost dark outside. Army's parents winning each one. That's when Army lost it.
"Fine, then you win! I give up!" Army yelled as he walked back to his apartment.
"Army, come back!" Aloha said running after him.
"No! I'll be home if you need me," Army scowled.
"He's still the same petit (little) boy," Army's mom sighed.
"I'll go get him..." Aloha said as he walked towards where Army had disappeared.
He found him sulking on a bench near his apartment. Aloha went and sat next to him.
"Hey, Army," he said.
"What, Aloha," Army said still sulking.
"Why'd you get so upset?"
"I'm sick of my parents being better at everything I do!"
"Army, in my eyes you're better at everything you do. I love you, Army. Come'ere~"
Aloha kissed Army. Army immediately gave in and kissed him back. Aloha put his arms around his lover's waist holding him against his chest, closing the gap in between them.
After what seemed to be too short, their lips unlocked. Army locked up at Aloha lovingly and Aloha smiled back.
"I'll go get your parents you just wait here," Aloha told Army as he got up and walked back towards the plaza.
When he saw their faces in pure shock as he returned he got worried. Are they upset with me? Did they see me? What's going on??! Aloha asked himself.
"You have a way with Army, mon ami, (my friend)" Army's mom said in awe.
"We were jamais (never) able to convaincre (convince) him as easily as that!" Army's dad exclaimed.
"I remember when he used to cry himself to sleep every night because he felt so solitare (lonely). We'd try to tell him it was okay and temps (time) was all he needed but he wouldn't écouter (listen). He soon moved here. But I know why he wanted to leave now," Army's mom said with a hint of sadness.
"Why?" Aloha asked full of curiosity.
"He wanted to find someone who made him heureux (happy) like you do. And he did that," she answered with a smile.
"Merci (thank you) for making our little gaçon (boy) so happy," they said lovingly.
Aloha just stood there in pure shock. He never heard any of this from Army before. After 5 more seconds in awe, he led them to where Army was dozing.
"We'll have to head back soon little amour (love)," Army's dad said with a tinge of sadness.
"We have an affaires (business) trip in France next week," Army's mom added.
They walked up to him and gave him a big hug.
"Je t'aimais et t'aimais encore (loved you then and still love you now) little one," his parents said in chorus.
Aloha was almost crying because of how touching the moment was even though he had no idea what they said but he got the hint. Army however was crying.
"I love you guys too," he sobbed "I'm sorry for leaving..."
"Shh, little one," Amy's mom said.
"We'll see you again bientôt, (soon)" Amy's dad added in.
As Army's parents walked away Aloha felt like he just witnessed the most adorable thing in his life. Army was still crying but not as hard as before.
Aloha picked him up bridal style and carried him all the way to his apartment, opened the door, set him on the bed, and coved him in blankets. Aloha was hungry and was sure Army was too. So, he cooked up curry leftovers and made two bowls for himself and Army. He brought Army a bowl and they ate.
"I love you so much, Aloha. You take care of me all the time too," Army said lovingly.
"I love to see you happy, mon amour~"
They soon finished their food and set the bowls on the nightstand. Army cuddled Aloha close to him and slowly fell asleep.
