Curses do exist..

Adriana was running late to reach the front of her university gate. She was supposed to be there 2 mins ago 'Great' she thought 'now Max would have another reason to scream at her.'

Due to this, she failed to see another guy coming her way, and as cliché as it may sound they bumped into each other.  Adriana had an amazing body physique but terribly messy bun and big round glasses. She was very beautiful though and just a bit of grooming would fix her.

Callus noticed her and couldn't take his eyes off 👀 when he realized that the hit had caused her glasses to fall and break, without them she couldn't see anything.

"Oh no,I am so sorry! I broke your glasses by mistake-" but before he could finish his sentence she said it was OK and was hastily getting up and groping her way towards the gate.

Callus decided to follow her just to make sure she did not fall or something. Upon reaching he saw a big guy💪just waiting by the gate and as Adriana neared he noticed she wasn't wearing her glasses and then his loud voice boomed,

"Really Adriana you really don't care about my gifts?! Where are your glasses?!?!"

'He sounds pretty mad...' Callus thought. "Uhm... excuse me but uh her glasses are actually my fault, well you see we were-"

Max cut him and now sounded even more mad, "oh so now we cheating are we? Going around gathering PITY are we? You think I am bad?! Even after I give you so many gifts?!"

What Max did next boiled Callus' blood. He slapped Adriana's face, knocking her down in an instant.

"HEY!" Callus quickly bent to Adriana. "Stay out of it, none of your business." Max growled. At the same time, Tyler, a friend of Callus, was passing by and seeing Callus next to Max he hurried over.

"Callus!' He whispered, "What are you doing??" Tyler pulled Callus away from Adriana and turned to Max. "Sorry Max he is new and does not know the rules." Max relaxed a bit it seemed.

Tyler pulled Callus away from Max and Adriana and as soon as they were out of ear shot he scolded Callus, "What were you thinking? Going behind Adriana! She is Max's girlfriend! Stay away from both of them! Do not even look at her or else Max will come after you-"

"Ty did you not see how miserable she was?"

"What No! You really should not care about her, listen, tell you what we have a bit of time now so follow me quietly." He took Callus to the first floor and looked around nervously before turning a corner and quickly slipping into a girl's washroom.

"Listen last year a handsome and quite successful guy called Christen felt the same way you did and-"

Tyler took Callus' hand and took him over to a locked cubicle; he stood on top of the wash basin nearby and beckoned Callus to come up, "look" he simply said pointing towards the cubicle.

Callus peered in careful not to let his leg slip from on top of the basin, Tyler got down to keep a look out and make sure that Callus did not fall.

Callus was horrified at what he saw, the cubicle was tainted dark red, and there were scratches on the walls and red colored writing on the wall-

Callus was speechless. He went pale at the sight. He got down and looked at Tyler, "Was that-"

"Christen's blood? Yes."

Callus was horrified, yes, but that did not mean he was going to back down! Now he was further more determined to save Adriana, but first he had to know what he was up against.
