Chapter 16

Walker's POV
Jentzen?! What is he doing here??
"Yo man? What are doing here?" I asked bro hugging him.
"Nothing I just came to see if everything was ok with you two" He said to me. He is the bestest friend ever.
"Yeah everything is good bro" i said back.
"Well I'm glad the plan worked" He told me. He was in on the whole beach thing
"So you helped with the beach set up" I asked him
"Yea. The whole squad helped" he said smiling. "You guys are adorable. We couldn't just let you guys break up" he said again
"We're not even official dating yet" I said to him. I haven't thought about that actually. I'm gonna do it soon though (this needs to happen in real life before I lose my mind)
"Well if you need help when you decide to do it. You know I got you" he said smiling. Well imma go. Tell Indi I said hey" he said turning around
"Wait.." He turned around again.
"I actually could use your help with something" I said smiling

Indi's POV
I told Walker to get the door but he's taking forever to get back
"Walker!!" I yelled hoping he would hear me
"I'm coming!!" I heard him yell back. I also heard the door shut, he's coming back up now.
"Who was at the door?" I asked as he entered my room again.
"It was Jentzen. He was coming to check on things." He said laying down on my bed next to me.
"Oh ok" I said. "Do u want to watch a movie now?" I asked him
"Yeah of course"  he said cuddling me. We turned on a no he and fell asleep 15 minutes later

The next day

I woke up this morning with my boy next to me on his phone
"Morning walkiee" i said ina baby voice
"Morning cutie" he said kissing my cheek. I wish i could stay with him today." You have to go meet that jerk today?" He asked referring to Jacob." I nodded not wanting to talk about him.
"Are you sure I can't go with you" he said hugging me tightly not letting go.
"I wish but I don't want anything to happen to you" I said hugging him back.
"You know you don't have to protect me. I want to protect you from him. I can't do that if I'm with you." He said looking at me. This boy is everything.
"I know but its only a few hours and I'll come to your house after." I said getting up from the bed, cause I have to go soon.
"Ok. Call me when your on your way though" he said getting up, getting his stuff.
"Ok. I will Walkie" I said to him, chuckling at him being protective of me.
"I'm serious" he said to me looking at me.
"I know" I said kissing his lips quickly before him leaving.
"Bye. Please be careful" he said walking to the door
"Ok. I will. Bye Walkie" I said closing the door behind him.
I started to get my stuff and called an Uber.

Walker's POV
Jentzen was secretly waiting for me outside so we could follow her. The plan was to follow Indi to see where she was going first. Then we would call the cops and tell them the location. They would come, arrest Jacob, and I take indi back home with me. And hopefully he won't be a problem anymore.
We saw Indi get in an Uber and stayed behind her not to noticeably but kinda. She got out at this house. Wow. Just a plain house. In plain sight. Kinda stupid.
She knocked of his door and he answered. I saw his yank her arm and pulled her in the house. My poor baby.
"Imma go look in window" I said to Jentzen, getting out of the car. I walked up to the house making sure he didn't see me. I carefully looked in the window and I can't even explain what I'm seeing. This jerk has MY girl on a couch and he's on top of her, kissing her. She looks like she's about to cry. I ye Ted Jentzen asking if he called the police yet, he said they're on their way now. They better hurry up or else imma go in there myself. I didn't leave the window. As much as it hurt to look at what he was doing I made sure he didn't physically hurt her. He was being very aggressive. Eventually he stopped and what he did next sent me over the edge. He picked her up from the couch and slammed her against the wall hitting her head. I could hear her crying. That's it. I'm not waiting anymore. I went to the door. I figured it was locked so i took my foot and kicked the door in. It fell down, and they both looked at me in shock. Jacob looked pissed.
"What are you doing here!!??" He yelled, then looking at Indi " Did you tell him??!! I told you not to open your big mouth" He was getting ready to hit her but I caught his hand just in time, and twisted it and punched him. He was on the ground now, bleeding. I just kept punching him,I could hear indi crying in the background. I hear Jentzen came in and pulled me off of him
"Walker! Stop! You're gonna kill him!" He shouted. I stopped punching him and looked at my baby sitting in the corner crying
"Indi? Hey, I'm right here" I said holding her tightly. She just sat there crying into my chest. I heard police come up. Once they saw the scene, they asked if we were ok. We nodded. Indi was still crying, but more calmer.
"Hey baby, you want to go outside?" I asked her whispering. She nodded. I carefully helped her to get up and we walked outside to Jentzens car. I put her in the  backseat and got in with her,while Jentzen talked to the police. Indi was starting to calm down a little more and she just kept hugging me. I looked at her and noticed she had marks all over her from him.
"Does anything hurt?" I asked still holding her.
"My head" she whispered. I carefully got my backpack and looked in it for some Tylenol
I gave her two and a water bottle. She took the medicine and layed her head on my shoulder. I saw Jentzen coming back to the car.
"Ok. You going to Indi's house or yours" He asked starting the car.
"Where do you wanna go?" I asked Indi.
"Yours" she said slowly
Jentzen drove off in the direction of my house. Indi fell asleep on my shoulder the rest of the ride.

~15 minutes later~

We got to my house. I didn't want to wake Indi up, so Jentzen helped me get our stuff and i picking Indi up bridal style and took in the house up to my room, and i laid her on my bed. Jentzen gave me the stuff.
"Take care of her man" he said walking to the door
"I will" i responded. We did our handshake and he left
I went back to my room after letting him out and noticed Indi was starting to wake up.
"Hey baby, you ok" I said walking up to the bed sitting down next to her.
"Yeah, I guess" she said quietly.
"Do u want something more comfortable to put on?" I asked her. She nodded. I got off the bed and went over to my closet. I gave her one of my goodies and a pair of sweats. She took the clothes and went in my bathroom changing. She cane out put her clothes with her things and sat back on the bed next to me.
"Walker? Can I ask you something?" She asked me quietly.
"Of course baby" i said back to her
"Why...."
