UNRAVELING SIN

Chapter 1

"Come on mom,i will be fine." i complained to my mom yet again.
I adjusted myself at the back seat of the car with my mom beside me.

"I just want to make sure you have everything you need sweetheart"Mom said as she took both my hands in hers.

I signed and nodded "I know mom but am a big girl,i can take care of myself"
She frowned at me "You are my baby girl and i love you"
I smiled and nodded "I love you too mom".
She smiled and pulled me close for a hug.

I smiled and sniffed her sweet smell of strawberry.
I pulled back and studied her as she adjusted her black dress. Her brown hair fell down her shoulders in waves.
Her white flawless skin has the usual glow,her blue eyes which my dad happen to love most about her.

Am Selina Moore,daughter of Adam Moore who owns the biggest hospital within and outside the country.
My dad is ranked the number one Best Doctor in the country and known outside also.
Mom owns the biggest fashion industry know as Moore fashion word.

They are both know outside the country whereas am their only child Selina Moore,though am not known by the media due to the fact that i don't like being the center of celebrity gossips and i don't really like bringing attention to myself.
Though i was very popular in highschool,not like am being cocky or anything but most people want to hang out with me because am cool,beautiful and also due to the fact that am a Moore.

I have dark brown hair with light roots,brown eyes i got from dad and light skinned like mom.
Am kinda short so i love wearing heels to make me look taller. I've got curves here and there probably due to i work out a lot.
I have no much interest in books but i love dancing as much as it loves me.
I just got accepted into AMDA state of performing art school which happens to be at New York.

Mom insisted to fly there with me even though i told her not to.

Am really excited about this as its just like a dream come true for me.
Only the best school there so you have got to see my point.
Its just like am half way closer to my dream of being a Prima ballerina.
Dad doesn't support my dream of being a dancer so he didn't see me off, am happy as long as mom supports me.
"We are here" Mom clapped her hands excitedly breaking me out of my day dream.
Mom quickly wore her dark glasses and a hat so as not to be recognized. I shook my head,being a celebrity is difficult.
We both stepped out of the car and the driver went to get my luggage from the trunk.
He walked up to us struggling to carry the luggage.
I shook my head and sighed,its just four boxes and my makeup kit.
I tore my gaze away from him and looked up at my home for the next three years.

A red huge banner with the inscription "Welcome to AMDA" stood out.

The school looks pretty huge and classy,i looked around as students were hugging,kissing their love ones good bye.

A group of girls screamed and ran to the few girls who were hanging around the corner,they probably high school friends that got reunited.
I turned to my mom and smiled "I have to go now"
Mom sniffed "But..."
I smiled and threw my hands around her "I will be safe,i promise" I whispered in her ears.
She pulled back and gave me a weak smile "You promise to be safe? "
I nodded.
"You will call home always?"
I nodded.
"Five times in a day alright?"
I raised my eyebrows at her "Really mom?"
She laughed "Alright twice in a day"
"That can be arranged "
"If anyone gives you a hard time you call me alright,i will set them up straight "
I laughed "Am a Moore,am the one who gives people hard times "
She nodded and laughed.
"And always.."
I took both her arms and smiled cutting her off "I be fine mom,i promise ".
She pulled me in for a hug and sniffed on my neck "Be safe alright " Her voice breaks.
I nodded.
She pulled away and nodded,wiping her eyes with a wiper.
"I love you " I said to her. She smiled at me "I love you more ".
"I would have loved to go with you in there but i don't want to create a chaos" she said with a smile.
" I know "
She nodded and turned walking back to the car.
I watched as the car drove away.
