Chapter 8- Selfish?

A/N- ahahahaha.... what am i doing

(The chapter after this is gonna be the last chapter/epilogue kinda thing cuz there's really nothing more for Izu to do in the past. jUst saying)

Izuku went into a small room residing in the police station. He opened the door and walked inside, where Tsukauchi and Yugachi were. The bronze-haired boy was rolling around a couple of marbles.

Yugachi had a small bandage wrapped around one of his fingers. He looked up at Izuku. Tsukauchi smiled. "You ready?"

The greenie nodded. He kneeled down, so he was facing Yugachi. "You can use your quirk on me now. Whenever you're ready."

Yugachi mutely nodded in response. He pointed one of his fingers at Izuku and started concentrating, really hard. 

A few minutes passed by, and a small ball of light was at the tip of Yugachi's finger, but it was slowly fading out. Suddenly, the light went out.

"I'm sorry," Yugachi said. "I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry, I can't do this." He got up and ran out of room, shocking both Izuku and Tsukauchi.

"I-I'll go find him!" Izuku stuttered, getting up and running out of the room. The sounds of the boy's footsteps led him out of the station.

The sounds of crying and sniffling came from behind a small building. He was selfish, and he knew that. He didn't deserve anything, and he knew that. 

Yugachi couldn't bear the feeling of being a burden. He knew he was even more of one, especially since he ran out of the room like that. Izuku was the only one who had shown care for him in eight years. 

He was twelve years old, so he should've been at least a bit stronger. He committed so many sins, and he got a chance to feel like a hero. But it didn't feel right for him to move on in life feeling so disgusting. After he sent Izuku back to the future, it would be over. No more drama, just living normally like he always wanted, but did he deserve it?

The time-quirk user heard some footsteps, and he saw the green-haired man looking down at him.  "I'm sorry." He mumbled.

Izuku say down away from him and looked into his yellow eyes. "You okay? What happened?" 

"It.... didn't feel right," Yugachi responded, quiet, but enough so that Izuku could hear. "I'm a monster. A-And using my quirk on somebody makes me feel horrible. I've done so much bad in my life, and now I'm even more of a burden."

A silent yet comforting presence came from the other. "It's never too late to change. Take it from my boyfriend."

That got Yugachi confused. "Huh?" Izuku laughed. He took out his phone and tapped a bit. Then he slid it over. A spiky-haired blond with red eyes and a scowl on his face was shown. It was a video.

". . . WHY THE HELL ARE YOU RECORDING ME?"

"Hehe, it's nice to see you playing with the kids. Smile now!"

"Damnit Deku, I would fûcking kill you if I didn't love you."

"Hey! Don't swear in front of the kids."

"They're grown up, they can handle this shít. Right goldie?"

"Uh, sure."

"Kacchan, I don't want them to grow up to how you were in middle school."

"SHUT UP! I apologized for that shït didn't I? NOW STOP RECORDING!"

"Okay, fine."

Yugachi frowned. "He seems mean. What happened in middle school?"

Izuku smiled, but it was a sad one. "I guess you could say he bullied me. But soon, he came around to liking me. It was hard, but I forgave him for everything he did."

"But... why?"

"I don't know, I've just always admired him." He answered. "I could really see how much he changed, and you should move past everything you did too. I don't know how bad they are, but you're just a kid. Nobody should go through that stuff. Take this chance to reinvent yourself."

He processed everything that the future man said. A slowly pushed himself up, and hugged Izuku. He ignored the side effects of his quirk. 'I'm... just a kid. But a bad one. Maybe... one day... not today... I've forgive myself.'

Yugachi's fingers started glowing. A shining bright light blasted from the edge of his fingers. 'I'm sorry for everything I put you through. But thank you.'

A sharp flash lit up the area, and Izuku was gone.
