Alice ignored what else was happening to the cop. She turned to Hope seeing her groaning and covering her ears, her face scrunched up in pain. Just as she was gonna ask her what's wrong hands roughly grabbed her and made her stand.
"Report. Report now," The soldier that grabbed her demanded. She looked at him confused and asked,"what?" He pulled her away from Hope a little and slammed her against the wall and demanded again," I want your report, soldier."
"I don't know what your talking about," Alice told him. Just as he was about to slam her again a voice stopped him. It was Hope that stopped him. "Don't hurt her," Hope that's now sitting up and looking at him with angry glowing brightly yellow eyes told him.

They both turned to look at her. Alice was shocked to see her daughter with yellow glowing eyes looking at them. The soldier didn't look surprised and backed away slowly with his hands up.
He kept his focus on Hope but addressed Alice," you are the only one that can calm her down." Alice quickly got over her shock and moved towards Hope slowly. "Hey, sweetie I'm okay, okay? See look at me I'm fine. Calm down, honey," Alice told her while standing in front of her line of vision.
Hope quickly focused her line of sight towards her mom and was scanning her from head to toe to check for injuries. Satisfied with what she saw her yellow eyes slowly faded back to her blue ones.
She felt something running down from her ears. So she reached up and touched her ears and felt something wet and sticky. When she looked at them them, they had blood on them.
Alice who was watching her calm down gasped when she noticed her hands had blood on them. She rushed towards Hope and turned her head to look at her ears to see blood coming out of them. While they had their moment.
Another soldier told the one that had Alice ," sir, the house's primary defenses have been activated. Their probably still suffering the side effects."
The man that had his hands cuffed yelled to the one of the soldiers holding him," what are you doing with us!" The one that was holding Alice grabbed the girls and dragged them with him, while asking," what about the cop?"
The one that had a small computer answered him," Matthew Addison, I'm not getting a match." One of the soldiers holding the cop down pulled out a gun and pointed at him while asking," who are you?"
" I just transferred. They probably don't even have me on file yet!" The cop name Matt yelled at them. Another soldier said," the locals are inefficient. It's possible."
The woman soldier asked him," should I secure him here?" The soldier that had Hope and Alice next to him took off his mask/helmet thing. To show an African American man looking at the girls. "No. We take him with us," He said.
Matt yelled at the woman," you can't do this!" She took off her mask/helmet and leaned down to look at him and said," blow me." The African American man ordered the soldier with a small computer to ," prep entry to the hive."
All of them took off their mask/helmet and went down the hall that the mirrors opened up to, including Alice,Hope, and Matt.
Alice POV:
As we followed them I held onto my daughter's hand. "Hey, my daughter is hurt do you guys have something for her?" I asked them while following them still.
The bald African American guy turned his head towards us but kept walking and said," we have a medic. She'll look at her when we get to our destination." I nodded and looked towards my daughter to make sure she's okay.
She quest have sensed I was looking at her, cause she turned her head to look at me. I gave her a soft smile,she frowned at me instead. I gave her a confused look. "Why did you look shocked when you were calming me down earlier?" She asked me.
"Oh,um your eyes were glowing bright yellow. That's why I was shocked," I told her. She had a confused look on her face. "How is that possible," She asked me.
I frowned and shrugged,"I don't know. But don't worry, we'll figure it out together,okay?" She gave me a small smile and nodded slightly. We kept following the soldiers down a set of stairs to some type of big storage room.
It contained a lot of metal crates with a symbol on all of them. We stopped walking and looked at what the soldiers were doing. I noticed a soldier set a timer on the wall and on his watch.
"I wonder what that is for," I thought. He headed towards the train that some of the other soldiers were searching. The bald guy gestures to follow, so we did. We all got on the train.
The one that had the timer told them," powers down." The bald one said ," so fix it." The woman soldier told him," I'm on it."
The bald guy turned to the other woman soldier," her daughter is hurt. Can u check on her?" The woman nodded and grabbed her bag and walked with him to where we were sitting on the floor with Matt.
"This is our medic. She's gonna check on your daughter." He told me. I nodded and thanked him. He nodded back and walked away.
Hope POV:
The medic kneeled down and opened her bag and grabbed gloves putting them on." What's wrong?" She asked." Well when one of you guys threw that smoke grenade, it exploded and when I turned to check on her. She was holding her ears in pain. Then we noticed they were bleeding." My mom told her.
The medic nodded and softly grabbed my head and turned it to see my bloodied ears. She lightly touched my ears," does that hurt?" I winced a little and said," a little bit. It's mostly in my ears that hurt more."
She nodded and retracted her hands to reach in her bag and got out an otoscope. "Okay. I'm gonna check your ears with this. Tell me if it hurts. I promise to be gentle." She told me. I nodded and let her check them.
She lightly put the tip in and looked through the scope. She finished and put it back back in the bag and told us," it looks like the explosion damaged your eardrums which cause them to bleed. But luckily you are healing so you'll be fine."
We nodded confused on how I was able to heal so fast. She grabbed an alcohol wipe and started wiping the blood off of my ears. Once she was done, she threw the wipe in her bag and took off her gloves and threw them in her bag also.
"Done. Your gonna be okay." She told me. I nodded and said," thank you" to her. She gave me a small smile in return and grabbed her bag and walked away.
