The new student (Diodeshipping/Ash x Clemont)

Chapter 1

Clemont goes to a High School in Lumiose city. He gets bullied by his classmates because he never showed any interest in girls. But Clemont didn't show interest in anyone, even boys, so he didn't get it at all.

That all changed when a transfer student came to the school. He was about 15. He had tan skin and raven hair. He must be from Kanto, Clemont thought. His shiny brown eyes completed the look. Definitely Kantonian.

The new kid got a lot of attention from Clemont's friend, Serena in their first week.

Clemont was thrilled whenever he saw him alone in the hallway.

He finally got the opportunity to talk to him.
"H-hi, I'm Clemont, what's your name?"

Hearing the voice of another male made him perk up. "Huh? Oh. I'm Ash, from Pallet town in Kanto."

"So you are Kantonian? What's it like there?" Clemont sat next to him and tried to make small talk with him.

"It's nice, I guess... It got pretty rough back there so I'm glad I came to Kalos." Ash looked carefully into Clemont's eyes. "I don't know many blue-eyed people."

"Y-you know S-Serena..." Clemont was close to breaking down thinking about Serena.

"Oh, her? I've known her for years, we met at summer camp in Kanto."
Clemont wanted to facepalm so bad right now. That's why she and him talked so affectionately!
"Oh."

"What's up, Clemmy?" A nickname already?

"Nothing," Clemont sighed. He just wanted another friend... or maybe more.

Ash always knew he liked boys, too. That's why he perked up at the sound of a male voice. All of his previous girlfriends he ended up leaving. Misty, May, Dawn, Iris.
And some of them left for other guys, who they even thought were better than Ash. May left for Drew, and Dawn left for Paul. He had known that girls just weren't what he was into.

When Clemont ran up to him and introduced himself, Ash knew there was something about him that made him forget about those girls. It was all about Clemont in his mind now.

"Hey, Ash..." Clemont nervously put his fingers together. "Do you like science?"

Ash smiled brightly. "Yeah, science is so freaking cool."

"You'd be happy to know that I'm an inventor." Although most of Clemont's inventions ended up exploding in the end... Oh, well.

"Wow... That's so cool! Science is so amazing." That was the first time of many Clemont would hear him say that, and blush madly at his compliment.
"Can I come to yours later? I want to see some of your inventions."

Clemont blushed a little. "S-sure." For one, Ash just asked to come round his house, for another, he kept his inventions in his bedroom. That would mean... He and Ash would be spending some time alone together in his room! He began to turn noticeably redder by the second. He knew it, he liked boys.

A/N: omgggg my first fanfic that's not an x reader aaaa! so yeah i jumped straight back into the pokemon fandom this year... and i watched xyz all the way back when i was about 8-10 so it's been 5-7 years and i can't believe i didn't notice how much clemont and ash seemed to like each other! and after looking back i now ship diodeshipping, it's so cute. anyway see ya lol
