Read

Luke 6:45
A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

Reflect

I've recently became a fan of basketball and whenever the team I'm cheering for, UPMBT (a team from our university), wins, I can't help but share the good news on Twitter, Facebook, and even on Instagram!

Maybe you also have that one thing you love to share about, the new movie you've seen or the great food you've tasted from that newly opened restaurant. Those things that you've become so passionate about and can't help but share it to others without realizing if they'd be interested or not. It just makes your heart glad that it overflows out from your heart. You just can't help but to spread the good news.

"For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." --Luke 6:45

In the same way, you can passionately speak, not only verbally but also evidently through your actions, about Jesus when He abounds in your heart. It happens if you deeply root yourself in His word (John 15:5) to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22). When you continually think and meditate about excellent and honorable things that God has done, there will be an overflowing of gladness and joy that compels you to share it to others.

By staying in the presence of Jesus and experiencing His works and wonders in your life, you will be drive to share and show Jesus by loving, showing peace, sharing joy, having humility, being kind, faithful, gentle, and having restraint in every situation.

You might say that the gospel is different from those other things that make you excited about. Sometimes, we have that feeling of holding back when it comes to sharing about our faith due to fear of rejection, worse is persecution.

You see, just put it out there anyway, say it anyway. By doing that, you're already planting a seed, let the Lord grow it. Don't stop praying victory over those fears, and start by demonstrating the goodness that Jesus placed in your heart.

As one who is created in the image of God, you are also to show and reflect that godly image to others. With, people will see how good and loving your God is, and that will push them to know Christ and receive His love.

Respond

Pray for another two (2) people to share the gospel to in another week. Pray victory over the things that hinder you from being an ambassador of Christ.

(Add on: An encouragement to a light of the world.)
