This book club isn't the usual type where there would be boring assignments given weekly. Honestly I don't even like those. We all need our own time to do what we want and this book club wouldn't put you under much pressure.
The book club works this way...
1. Each person chooses a book to read from the listed books available.
2. You have to read three chapters of the book you chose and drop at least 3 inline comments and 1 final comment. You can continue the book if you'd like... just let the author know.
3. The inline comments should be constructive and helpful.
4. The final comment shouldn't be less than 5 lines and should be constructive and not rude.
5. Each comment must start or end with #NEBC for easy recognition.
6. Mature books are allowed but no LGBTQ+ of any kind... for the sake of some members. All books must be in English.
7. After reading the first three chapters, you have to tag the author next to her book and also comment three things you liked about the book and some suggestions.
8. You have a week to return the favour and read the book of the person who read yours and also give your comments (exclusive of the non-authors)
9. Each week there would be BOTW (Book of the week) and also BOTM (Book of the month) The authors would be interviewed by one of the managers (if they want) and the interview published in one of her books.
10. You mustn't be a Nigerian to enter... this is for all.
11. This is an interactive club. So don't hesitate to talk to everyone.
12. The BOTW and BOTM would be read by everyone. Only one final comment is needed of not less that 5 lines.
13. The presidents would also have to fill the forms and read the books of others.
14. There would be interactive time events that'll take place from time to time... so be on the lookout.
