Chapter 2 : "The Examination"

Korn's POV :
The Gifted examination starts today and I don't know whether I want to  be one of the student in the program but I studied anyway. Aubrey was really studious and didn't sleep for days . I got worried so I told her that she needs to sleep to get energy and get a long and deep rest . At first , she rejected but eventually she agreed after I tried to tell her to get some rest. Today , she looks energized like before which makes me really happy and make me less worried.
The papers were given and the examination starts and I didn't know it was easy but then.....

Your POV :
Before the exam starts , I was on my table studying again. I'm glad I listened to Korn's advice. I was surprised too because the time he asked me to take a rest I saw a worried expression on his face and he sometimes pout when I didn't take his advice which I take an advantage to tease him. We developed friendship throughout the month.
The exam starts and it went smoothly and I didn't even get the point of why I need to study that hard when the questionaires was so damn easy. I finished quickly but recheck my paper more than 5 times because I'm worried because of my marks. I'm not sure if I will be in the Gifted program. It sounds interesting and make me feel like I was supposed to be there , I don't know that was just how I feel. I turned to my left which Korn was seated. Well our desk were seperated but not that far enough. I stared at him while he was doing his paper . He looked...calm and his sideprofile is so attractive that makes my heart skips a beat. I stared at him full of admiration and was cut off by the teacher saying that we can give our papers to the teacher if finished. I was about to stand up but then....

Third person's POV :
You and Korn heard this buzzing kind of noises . You both thought it was from the speaker and someone then spoke , "The last question requires a free-text response . The new question is , with the new advancements in technology today , humans are no longer subject to Charles Darwin's natural selection , do you agree with this statement ? . Please write your response on the back of the answer sheet".
You and Korn was in utter confusion but did as what as it says. You wrote your answer and returned it to the teacher and Korn did too.
You asked him if he heard the new question and he nodded . You thought all the students heard it too when they actually didn't hear a thing.

(Time skipped to the results day)
Your POV :
Yeaaay ! I'm so excited to see my results but nervous too. I was walking beside Korn with him having his headphones on the neck and holding his camera with his hands .
"Do you think we'll be in the program ?" , I asked full of anxiety . "I'm sure we will , don't worry , I think you'll be the one in the program and not me but I will still support you !" Korn said with a smile . "Don't say it like that ! I want you to be by my side always hmph !" I said as I imitate Korn's pouting to tease him. "Okay-okay , stop imitating me ! Now let's go to the results board !!" Korn joked , I laughed and skipped along my way with Korn walking normally behind me just a few cm away. People always gossiped about me and Korn being close but I won't care about it , as long Korn's with me , I will be happy .
We arrived at the results board and checked our names in class '4/1' but our names were not listed there. We then checked the Gifted's list and have found our name listed as one of the student enrolling in the program. I was so happy that I hugged Korn without realizing. I then stopped and felt embarassed and said 'sorry' to him. He said it was okay and I just smiled and turned my attention to the Gifted's list again.

Korn's POV :
I felt heat rising up to my cheeks after she hugged me. It was the most happiest moments in my life , well , we do be spending time with taking pictures and things like that but this , THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING MEMORY OF ALL TIME !!
While she was looking at the results , I took the chance to take a picture of her because she looks really excited which is really cute. Click ! , Aubrey totally heard that oops ! Shiaa you ruined it Korn now she's gonna be mad at me !
I just smiled at her nervously.
"Can I see the picture ? Please Na-Na-Na~" Aubrey replied.
Who think I can resist that , I mean that was so cute , she always plead like that which sometimes I teased her.
"Here" , I showed her the picture and she said she love the candid photo and complimented me for it. Yup luckiest guy on earth alive.
I smiled widely and she returned it.

Your POV :
I loved it when Korn takes a picture , it will always turned out good , well better than me. I remembered seeing a student from the lowest class was listed in the program too. I felt surprised because usually the highest class will enroll in this program and lowest class are not . I wanted to congratulate the person if we met by chance. Suddenly a guy pushes through the crowd , it was the same guy as the other day who ran from a teacher. He was searching for his name in his class which is the lowest class. He then realizes that his name wasn't exist in the list. He checked the Gifted's list and finally found his name . It was him ! Pang !. A girl from my class who I assume Namtharn , came right up to him and congratulate him . I'm a shipper so I shipped them both because before Pang pushed in the crowds they bumped into each other and looked into wach other's eye which I name it as 'Love at first sight'. I laughed at the thought and Korn was confused of why I was laughing all by myself but I said it's nothing. Me and Korn walked towards Pang and congratulate him too and we waved at him and walked away. I saw Korn being angry which I don't even know why.

Korn's POV :
Shia Pang !
When Aubrey was congratulating him as usual Aubrey is the happy and bright type of girl so she always smile at people sometimes I don't like it when he smiled at guys , it makes me jealous.
Pang gave her a smile and I can see so much adoration from his eyes which makes me furious. After all of that ended and we started to walk , I was still wearing my angry expression on my face and Aubrey was clueless about it obviously.
