Chapter 6 : "Sleepless"

(Based on chapter 5's night time)
Your POV :
Phew ! What a long day ! I've been tossing and turning on my bed trying to sleep yet I can't . Why is it so hard to sleep ?!. I checked my alarm clock and it says '2.25 am' , urgh I've became nocturnal . I should read some books then and go for a walk outside since the Gifted students is allowed to walk around the school during night time.
I tried to find a book that fits my mood right now and finally chose a book called 'Beauty and the Beast' . I was about to walk to my door and walked passed by my mirror and saw that I'm still wearing Korn's hoodie. Shia ! I'll return it tomorrow then . I went outside my dorm room and paced slowly in the corridors when suddenly...

Third Person's POV :
You heard footsteps that you assumed not yours . It is so shocking because during that time , you were alone with no one beside your book. You stopped walking and 'it' stopped as well. You got angry because it makes you feel annoyed and uncomfortable . You turned your head towards the sound which is behind you and saw a black figure. It looks like a little kid who you thought a girl. She wore white dress , brunette hair with a bow and light pink shoes . She have a beautiful face like one of those foreigners. You were about to say hi but Lin Kualin appeared right infront of you.

Lin Kualin 's POV :
I usually walked around everywhere I wanted to go to so today's location is the school. Walked , ran , skipped , jogged , danced , sang , whistling , hopping , I did most of the random things to do when I came across to Aubrey standing wearing a black hoodie. I knew who it belongs to and was about to tease her but then I saw this anxious and angry expression on her face until I saw a little girl few meters away from her. I knew who she was , she likes to trick people and will posessed people whenever she wants. I teleported infront of Aubrey protecting her. I then started to talk .
Me (Lin Kualin) : "What do you want with her ?"
The little girl : (weeping)
Aubrey : "You just make a kid cry wow ( in disbelief)"
Me (Lin Kualin : "You won't understand , this kid will trick you so that she can posessed you , that's why I sometimes don't trust little kids with innocent faces"
Aubrey : "Oops"
Aubrey was silent , I don't even know why , I asked her but she's still didn't say a word.

Your POV :
After hearing that , I tried to read the little kid's mind , If i can and saw that this kid is mad and sad because she was trying to be friendly but instead without realization posessed people. I was quiet even though Lin Kualin was asking why . I walked towards her but Lin Kualin blocked me . I tapped his shoulder and told him it's fine . Now I'm facing her and started to say something.
You : "You just wanted to have friends right ? But accidentally lose some"
The little kid : (nods)
You : "Well , you can but have some limits when you wanted to be friends with someone okay ? I can be your friend , what's your name kiddo ? My name's Aubrey"
The little kid : "Alice"
You : "Oh ; such a beautiful name same as your face , for now , be careful okay goodbye (waving)"
The little kid : "Bye sister Aubrey~" Alice then disappeared and I turned to look at Lin Kualin who stood there looking stupid .
You : "Begone you , I'm trying to calm myself down"
I walked passed him and continued my way to the rooftop.
(Time skipped)
I opened the door to the rooftop and saw a guy lying on th floor with headphones on , closing his eyes. I smiled and silently tiptoed towards the guy's direction and surprised him with saying his name , "Korn !". He opened his eyes and jumped straight up. I laughed and he was still in shock. I sat down and he too silently sat down beside me. I watched the sceneries of the sky with so much adoration. Korn was staring at me the whole time because I can feel eyes looking at me .
You : "Hmm?"
Korn : "Oh uhm , I was about to ask you , why are you up so late ?"
You : "I can't sleep , I felt energized and how about you ?"
Korn : "About that..."
I turned to him with a questionable look and he seemed nervous about it. I didn't want to read his mind , I want him to be the one who will let me know about it.
Korn : "I found out what my potential is an hour ago"
You : "Ooo , that's great ! What is it ?? I'm dying to know (enthusiastically)"
Korn : "Well , I think my potential is not that useful and it's being sleepless"
You : "Hey ! Don't say that , being sleepless can be useful too you know ! You can watch Netflix without being tired , you can do anything you want ! (pouting , imitating him of course)"
Korn : "Heh , it's just I feel like i'm useless to everybody-"
You : "Stop , stop ! You are not useless , you are needed in my life and other's life as well , you bring happiness when I'm sad , don't you ever say that again . Just like this book , 'Beauty and the Beast' , sometimes the Beast think he's literally a Beast when he still has a human part of him and scared to see the world thinking he's a monster , just like you who think you are useless , but then the Beast realizes that it's okay to show yourself to the world and he ended up to be human form of him which is the Prince , you are not useless and that's that okay ?"
Korn : "Okay-okay , Thank you for being there for me as always"
You : "You are very welcome (smiles)"
Korn's mind : "Gee , I love this girl so effin much , she looks cute in that hoodie I love her , she's perfect I love her , such a babygirl , I really wanna call her that"
I pretended to watch the views and close my eyes thinking of him . I lay my head on Korn's shoulder and whispered , "I love you too and you can call me that whenever you want" and fell asleep as soon as I said that.

Korn's POV :
I forgot that she can read minds shiaa , but at least she said something that makes my heart warm. Aubrey fell asleep on my shoulder and I just smiled at her. Her in my hoodie and messy hair is such a wow. I layed her on the piece of blanket that I usually used for sitting and kissed her forehead without realizing but realizes after doing that sort of movement , blushing I am and saw her smiling in her sleep. 'Goodnight babygirl' , I said and layed beside her holding her hand until sunrise.
