Willow mounted Alekid then head to the mansion located on the north of the capital. When she reached her destination, she saw a man standing by the gate.

"Young Lady Willow?" He scrutinized the incoming figure and asked when Willow stopped by the gate.

She gracefully dismounted from the horse. "Indeed, Bronwyn. Nice to meet you" she genuinely smiled. He's the butler of the house, and the brother of Edward.

"The pleasure's mine m'lady. It's cold here, let's head inside" Bronwyn warmly welcomed and opened the gate.

Willow nodded in acknowledgement as the retainer grab the reigns.

The maids guided her to the dining hall.

"Dinner has been prepared, miss. Please enjoy your meal"

Famished with only cookies in her belly, Willow ate to her heart's content.

"The meal's pretty good, Bronwyn. I express my gratitude to the kitchen"

"They'll be pleased to hear that, miss" He replied with a smile

"Very well, shall we talk over a tea?"

"Of course miss, allow me to guide you to the study"

After the butler poured the tea, Willow requested him to sit across the table.

"I originally planned to stay here for about 2-3 days but the Emperor gave me a job. I'll be teaching at the academy until the winter. If possible, may I count on you for accommodating my knights?"

"Ah, yes miss. Mary also sent a letter for the preparation"

"Very good, it's a sudden demand, so I hope you are not offended"

"Of course not, m'lady. I'm glad to help any matters of house Liariaz"

"Thank you Bronwyn. Alas, there's only two weeks left. If you are short in hands, you can hire temporary servants for the mean time. Don't worry about the finance, just send it to the main house"

"If that's what you wish, m'lady. Two weeks is enough to barely make it in time"

"Oh, could you also inform the main house of my whereabouts? This is so sudden and I didn't properly bid them my long term departure, you know the rest. Also, don't forget to prioritize the health of the duke"

"I'll keep that in mind m'lady. Would you leave early in the morning?"

"I guess so"

"I should prepare the carriage, personally bringing a steed in the academy is quite..." He looked troubled so Willow interjected.

"Indeed, it'll cause unnecessary trouble. There's no need to prepare our carriage, please call one from the outside. It would be bad to be in the streets using our house's crest during this turbulent situation."

He nodded in understanding.

"Very well, m'lady. Is that all you'll be needing?"

"Yes, thank you. You may leave" Willow dismissed Bronwyn and sat for a while.

Things are getting out of hand, but at least it hadn't turned for the worst. She thought for a while and analyzed the current power struggle.

After getting done with the matters, Willow bid Bronwyn her farewells. Instead of going straight to the academy, she instructed the coachmen to head towards the nearest stall. She quickly bought her necessities and rode towards the far east of the capital.

Upon nearing the gate, the guards attentively stopped the carriage.

"Halt! Carriage are not allowed beyond this point" Willow heard them shout in an imposing manner.
