"yes mum," mariella was talking to her mother about where she was going a for the rest of the summer "but you will remember to tell me when you get to jfk ok," "i will mum," she was in a queue for wh smith's to buy some m&ms, "can i go know." "yes mari love you lots," "love you too," mariella hung up and waited for the person i front of her to pay then went to pay for her stuff. mariella's favourite part of the airport was the food however she had to kiss that out as she was already late for her plane. exiting the shop she looked at where her gate was. gate eight . not far so she decided to look at her phone while walking. she opened instagram to see molly posted something on her private instagram with lennon. he laying on a chair weirdly while on his phone, the caption was lenny looking at his crush for the 100th time today. for some reason thinking that lennon has a crush made her feel kinda sick. she didn't like him like that or anything but it was odd to think that he liked someone that wasn't her. by the time she stopped thinking about the post by a little she was at the gate. "hello may i take your ticket and passport?" "uhh yes here," she took out her passport and boarding pass and handed it to the flight attendant "great what's your date of birth?" "thirteenth of july two thousand," "ok and your full name and birthplace," "mariella ana dicaprio and paris, france." "great hope you have a nice flight," "thank you." she put the passport and boarding pass in her handbag and walked into the first class part of the plane. "hello i'm jessica i will be the flight attendant for first class for this flight so come to me if you need help." "oh thanks i will," she headed in the direction of the seat that was on her ticket. it was the one nearer the back of the first class section, next to a younger man around her age. mariella sat down and got comfortable setting everything around her so she didn't have to do it later in the flight. "alright babes?" mariella turned round to see the man was actually quite good looking. "uh yeah you?" "i'm good," "cool," she smiled at him trying to be polite "oh god this is awkward my names matt," "oh i'm ella," "cool nice name," "yeah so's yours," "do i recognise you?" "uh maybe i dunno," "oh well i like your key ring," "thanks i made it," it had one of her favourite painting on the back of it. it was the girl with the pearl earring. he then said something about where she got it and he told her. this then started a very interesting conversation that lasted for the whole flight. matt turned out to be a graduate from an art school in paris and has a job as an art gallery consultant.
