Jae's POV

"Get up!" I yell at Jae. He groans and hides under his Postman Pat duvet. I flip the whole mattress over and leave him on the ground.

"I'm going to snap all the strings in your guitar if you don't get up in 5... 4... 3... 2..."

"Ok, ok. Sheesh don't be so harsh." He whines, lurking out of the bed covers. He's so irresponsible.

"You're so irresponsible." I say coldly "You can't afford to have another late mark."

"Yeah yeah. I know, school blah blah blah, education is good blah blah blah, get a scholarship to go to best uni blah blah blah."

I glare at him. Huffing, I get Bada out of bed next. She's not nearly as stubborn as Tae. I piggy bank her to the dining room and she sits down, her eyes drooping gently. Our parents fought all night last night. Thank God they're already at work.

Mina has already gone to school but she left some bacon sandwiches and sliced almonds in cute tiny containers for Bada to take to school. Cute.

"Hey, Ada, where's my geography textbook?" Tae comes in eating a bacon sandwich. Finally, the beast has awoken.

Wait a minute...

"Tae Moon Lee. Are you eating your little sister's lunch?" I seeth angrily.

He momentarily looks at the sandwich, his eyes confused. And then they widen.

After hitting him multiple times, I cook breakfast silently, glaring at him so much that I nearly burn it.

"Here's your bibimbap, Apple." I smile at her "Your no good of a brother gets nothing because he ate your sandwich."

"Hey that's not fair!" He whines "I was basically sleepwalking."

"Uh uh uh." Bada says, pursing her lips "Tae-Tak stole ma sandwich. Tae-Tak pays."

He pouts and slumps in his chair. I inhale the sweet spicy chicken aroma. I'm a good cook, if I do say so myself.

I see Tae sniffing the air. I grin. Might as well have some fun with this.

Slowly, I scoop up a big spoonful of gooey spicy sauce and fluffy white rice and wave it under my little brother's nose. He reaches out to eat it but I'm faster. I flip it all into my mouth.

"I get the whole punishment thing. But that was just mean." He sulks. I laugh and give him the rest of my food. He starts to protest but I insist.

"I wasn't that hungry anyways. I'll just grab a coffee on the way to school."

He smiles "Thanks, Jae."

Soon, he begins stuffing his face like the pig he is. I don't really need food. I'd rather see my family happy.

After last night, I explained the whole situation to September. She was not mad at all. Okay maybe a little bit. Okay maybe a lot. Fine she was full blown out T-Rex multiplied by Hulk mad. I left out the part of me freaking out. I told her that I felt sick so I went home.

Long story short, she flipped out.

September storms into the room, glaring at me. She comes here so often that she's got her own keys, Minnie Mouse and all.

She swirls her keys round her finger, all the while firing imaginary pistols at me.

"H-hey Seppie."

She seems to enjoy my absolute terror "Jae."

She acknowledged my name. That's... good?

"Tae?" She quips sharply. He looks up with a piece of bacon dangling from his mouth.
