chapter 10-change

       Keith was sitting at the police station when he heard a familiar voice. Pidge. Keith looked up to see Pidge running towards him he got up and they slammed I to each other in a hug. Keith felt broken. Everyone in his family was dead.
"He's dead" Keith said.
" I know. It will be okay"
After a few hours Pidge got up to go talk to her parents. She came back a couple minutes later and said "my parents have just signed the papers to foster you. They wanted to adopt you but the police said it was to soon."Keith looked at Pidge. And Pidge just hugged Keith. Later Keith and Pidge went back to keiths apartment. They planned on sleeping there and packing up his stuff in the morning to move it to Pidges house.
Keith's phone buzzed.

Lance: hey Keith

Keith:hey

Lance: so are we still on for tomorrow?

Keith: um can we reschedule?

Lance: yeah sure. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Keith: thanks I will.

Keith went to his room. He sat there staring at the ceiling. What was he going to do now. Keith felt dry tears run down his face. And he slowly drifted off to sleep.
      When Keith woke up it was 11:30. He went into the kitchen to see Pidge sitting at the counter reading a book. She looked up at Keith.
"Hey, how are you? feeling any better?"

Keith nodded."yeah thanks"
They slowly started to pack up Keith's things. Everything reminded him of Shiro. But Keith wouldn't let him self show weakness. Not any more. After the finished packing they headed over to Pidges. Keith would be sharing a room with Pidge witch he didn't mind. When they got home Pidges parents where at work and so was Matt to they went straight to there room. They decided that Keith got the bottom bunk and Pidge got the top bunk. After Keith settled in and put his stuff away he sat down on his bed.
"Um hey I think I am going to go do a patrol of the city"

"Oh okay. Be careful. See you later"
Keith slipped into his suit and left to potrol the city. Keith sat onto of a building and before he knew it his mask was wet with tears as everything that had happened hit him. When he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Hey Spider-boy"
Crap, why did it have to be him of all people.
Keith turned to see Deadpool standing behind him.
"Not now" Keith sniffed.

"Wow hey you alright buddy?"

"Just leave me alone"Keith's voice broke and he started sobbing. Before bye knew what was going on. Deadpool had talked Keith in his arms and started drawing cercles on his back in a attempt to clam and sobbing boy.
      After a while Keith fell asleep on Deadpools lap. And Deadpool quietly sat there until Keith woke up. When Keith woke up he felt drained."hey feeling any better?" Deadpool asked.
"Um yeah thanks" shortly after the two heros went their separate ways. when. Keith got home Pidge was Already in bed so Keith quietly climbed into o his bed. But he couldn't sleep. His mind was racing with the event's of the past few days. So he took out his phone and texted Lance

Keith: hey u still up?

Lance: yeah, whats up?

Keith: just can't sleep.

Lance: because ur so busy thinking about me?

Keith: heck no. Ur the last thing on my mind.

Lance: is that my u texted me?

Keith:ugh nevermind.

Lance: heh

Keith: im gonna try and sleep now.

Lance: goodnight keithy boy.

Keith turned off his phone and successfully fell asleep. The text day was Saturday witch means school starts again on Monday. Keith woke up to find pidge at her desk working on some project. "Mornin" Keith said

"Hey how did you sleep" Pidge said without looking up.
"Pretty good" after that Keith took out his phone. Lance had texted Keith this morning.

Lance: hey wanna catch a movie?

Keith: um yeah sure what time?

Lance: meet me at the park in 10?

Keith: alright. I will be there.

Keith told Pidge he was going out for a bit and grabbed his red jacket since is was getting colder. And it was also supposed to rain later today. Keith chose to walk to the park to meet Lance. Once he got there Lance stood up
"Hey so just to let you know I do know what happened and I won't mention it."

"Um okay thanks, what movie are we going to see?"

"Umm how about the new Mall cop movie? I hear it's supposed to be super funny."

"Yeah sure. Sounds good"

Keith and lance headed over to the movie theater. Mall cop was funny and they both enjoyed it and after decided to go to lunch at a little coffee shop. They had a nice conversation about what movies and shows they each liked. After they left the cafe they went to the park and it started raining
"Well we better get home. Wanna come to my house. No one will be home til tomorrow afternoon."Lance asked.

"Yeah sure let's go" lance leaded they way and once they got there they where soaked."come in up to my room you can borrow some of my clothes".

"Yeah thanks" lance led the way up stairs and to Lance's room. He had a queen sized bed with dark blue sheets and blankets. The solar system was painted on the ceiling. Lance went over to his dresser and pulled out a dark blue shirt and blue basketball shoets. "I know this isn't your emo style but it will half to do."

"Hey, I'm not emo"

"Yeah sure your not. That's why you dress in black and listen to MCR"

"ugh whatever"

Lance handed Keith the close and showed him where the bathroom was so he could change. When Keith came back Lance had changed into black basketball shirts and a ocean blue shirt.
"You wanna watch something"

"Yeah sure"
Lance out on the office. They watched nthis for about two hours then got bored and started playing videogames. After about an hour there game was interrupted by a breaking new report today's rain storm has turned into a snow storm all roads are closed please stay inside unless absolutely necessary.
Keith started to panic a little. He never liked snow storms because that is what killed his parents so from then on every time there was a snow storm Keith would have a panic attack and Shiro was the only one who was ever able to calm him down

~flashback~
It was late Sunday night on a very snowy day Keith and Shiro where waiting for there parents to return. Keith was sitting on the couch watching TV when the pH Rang. "Hello" shiro said "yes this is he" Keith turned around too he a horrified look on Shiros face "are you sure. This this can't be ture" after a moment Shiro hung up and started crying. "Keith, there has been an accident. Mom and dad didn't make it out.

~end of flashback~

Keith started panicking he could feel tears running down his face. He looked up at Lance and Lance looked back
"Keith buddy are you okay?"

"Um no I-I-I don't" Keith studdured. But  before he could say anything else he was in the warm embrace of non other then Lance. Keith felt blush rising on his checks. But being in Lance's imbrace helped clam the Raven haired boy a bit. Lance noticed and started drawing cercles on Keith's back and soon enough Keith was asleep in Lance's arms and soon after Lance was asleep as well.
