She smashed through the doors and instantly knocked two knights aside with a gust of icy wind. She came to see the third general, the demonic mega knight Akure.

A twinge of regret surged through her.

Akure was, in a way, the "nicest" of the four generals; he always respected her and even supported some of her choices. So why would he still fight against her? Clearly, he would've seen the sheer amount of evil within the actions of her father.

In front of her, another knight captain tried to attack her. Frost flipped the knight over her head and smashed his head onto the ground with an icy fist.

She drew her arm and swung it in a wide arc, killing the other two knights with an ice dagger to the chest each.

There were four archers. Two were positioned on the floor, while the other two were positioned high in a raised position on arcs behind them. As all four loaded their crossbows and lit them aflame, she figured it wasn't Hellfire that blazed from those arrows.

The first two archers fired their bows. She rolled to the side and narrowly avoided being hit by the flaming arrows.

She took out a shield made of ice and blocked two more arrows before causing the center of the shield to open. Then a beam of energy fired from the center, freezing the two archers solid.

She was gonna shatter them when pain flared from her left leg as a flaming arrow found its way into her leg.

She yelped and fell onto one knee, keeping her shield up to block the second arrow.

She hissed and froze the arrow solid before she snapped it with her hand. Her wound slowly healed. It was healing slowly due to the magical fire that was being used in the arrows.

She rushed forward while blocking two more arrows and slammed her shield into the first arc. It toppled and the archer fell to the ground. He was subsequently crushed by the rocks fall.

She took her shield and threw it into the arc that held the second archer, breaking its support and also causing it to crumble.

The archer was lucky enough to not get crushed though. She walked over and curb-stomped its head.

With her wound healed completely, she no longer felt any pain. She turned and faced the sword-wielding knight demon and summoned two swords of her own.

She crossed them, sharpening them even more, and said, "You respected me, even supported me. Why support my father when I know you know what he did? It was forbidden!"

The knight demon drew his sword and got into a stance similar to that of a mortal knight from the Medieval era with his sword laid over his left arm.

"Nothing personal, Frost," he replied after a few moments.

"So you'll follow my father, your "lord" who just committed an unforgivable offense against the cosmic order!?" she asked him.

The knight demon sighed and said "I don't agree with what your father did, but he forcefully bonded my essence to a jar. If he destroys it, he will absorb my essence, unless he is killed. Which is impossible. Whether I  like it or not,  I'm stuck doing his dirty work.”

Frost growled. It wasn’t an excuse, it was a legitimate reason for his refusal to join her side.

It was possible to forcibly bond a demon's essence to a specific figure or object through powerful magic. If that object or figure or killed or destroyed, the connected beings’ essence is destroyed as well.
