Frost only left the ninth plain of Hell because well..she wanted to genuinely explore some of the other realms she could find. Now that she avenged her adoptive family’s deaths she decided some time to herself and explore a bit.

She found herself in an unfamiliar world covered in snow. A blanket of stars accommodate the massive full moon shining silver light onto the ground.

She stopped and sat down in a pile of snow. She forced it to act as a blanket for her as she stared up at the night sky and thought of its beauty.

She saw some clouds moving in and she felt a few snowflakes lightly kiss her face as she layed on the ground. She felt at peace until she heard voices in the distance.

She spotted a long line of orange dots bobbing through the trees and  heard the steady clamping of hoofs.

Tilting her head she was curious as she began to head the clink, clang of armor as well metal could also mean weapons.

Getting up out of her snow pile she ran over to the edge of the trees curious to get a better look.

Sure enough metal armor gleamed in the moonlight and sensing their auras figured them to be mere humans if she had to engage them unless they carried holy weaponry she wouldn't have a thing to fear from them.

However, her gut sense was that they weren't exactly friendly.

She began to zero in on some of their conversations.

"How long till we get to the village I'm freezing out here!" Complained one horse-mounted human.

Frost snickered if they thought that THIS was cold to them they should try the ice-filled wastes of Hell...then they should complain.

Another human said proudly "we will get the drop on those villagers so bad they won't even seem ud coming!"

Frost mentally facepalmed *"no of course having a shit-ton of lanterns lit up into the air is obviously the best form of stealth to exist...can I go back to that modern world please...anyone?"* she thought

Something told her that her wish hadn't been granted.

Sitting up in a tree she watched as the humans gathered below her.

"Circle the village and overwhelm them. They have fighters but they are weak and we must finish them quickly," said a human wearing more fancy looking armor.

*"he must be their commander or general or something else"* she thought.

"Finish off any and all quickly ignore the women and children they are part of the reward"

Frost inwardly sighed "but what if they fight back-?" She said quietly

"IF the fight back then they will be disarmed and taken the handle off," he said dismissively

Frost blinked then smiled wickedly as the man continued to speak.

"With luck, we should be done within the hour" he stated

"Awfully quick time for such an apparently big village," she said again quietly.

"Bah, they lack defenses...wait who said that-!?" Suddenly asked the man realizing that it hadn't been one of his own that had been speaking during this

"Oh just your nearly dead consciousness...." she mused

"What-!?" He asked swinging his head widely around

Frost sat on one of the thickest branches casually swinging her legs back and forth before speaking again.

"You really need to find your brain cells if you can't find you own consciousness" she teased
