The Parallel Side

Chapter 7. That's What Happened.

     The figure on the left is talking "She is here. Somewhere. I saw her come through. But she'll never go back..." Hearing that part, I whisper to the Doctor.  "They are talking about me..."  I say, watching them. He whispers back "I know... I bet they got you here." I look at him. "Perhaps... " then keep listening. The figure on the right speaks this time. "It's the only way to destroy the Doctor." I whisper again to the Doctor "They must know you." He grins a little "I'm kinda hard to miss."

"Yeah. I know that." I whisper grinning too; his energy is contagious "But what are they after. Other than trying to destroy you."

 "I don't know... We should get out of here though."

"We need that machine though. To save you're Katrina though--" I am cut off as I am grabbed by the back of my shirt and thrown across the room, knocking against the wall passing out.

               The Doctors P.O.V.

"No!" I try to get to Katrina but I'm blocked. The zygon standing above looks exactly like me "Hello Doctor. Interesting meeting you here." He grins Maliciously, as another person that looks exactly like Katrina, picks up me.

      "What do you want with me?" I ask them. He answers.  "To destroy you"  

 "Obviously. Why? And give her back." I demanded. 

"Oh, we have other plans for her." It glances at the second Katrina, and she leaves, taking the real Katrina with her "Oh and Doctor it's not that obvious."  The Zygon me grabs my arms and pulls them behind my back. "Ow!" I wince "Not smart!" I pause "And how so?" He asks two more people grab me, they look like Amy and Rory. I stare at Amy.

"Amelia..."  The false Amelia looks at me with a cold stare "Come along Doctor. Time to go to your cell." They lead, Amy and Rory push me along.

       I sigh and go along, knowing it will be worse to fight. A small part of me feels let down. At first when I saw the fake Amy, I had hoped for a moment that she was real. They take me to a cell pushing me in there. Before taking my sonic.  Katrina is in the cell already still passed out. "Katrina..."  I situate her so her head is laying in my lap. I try to think of s plan to get out, knowing it will be hard without my sonic.

   Parallel Katrinas P. O. V.

I moan a little, not entirely waking up though. I feel the Doctor running his hands though my hair. I wake up Slightly "Oh... blimey." He speaks "Hey, shh, just take it easy." I look up seeing I'm in his arms and not liking it but not feeling well enough to move "Ouch... what happened?" He looks down and answers me "Um, well, you were thrown against a wall. We were found and put in this cell... Not too happy about that fact."

       "Yeah. I've been in enough cells in my life. I don't think I can move yet.." He replies "It's ok. We'll have plenty of time here I'm guessing." I mumble "Figured out what their plan is yet?"

He looks at me "Only that they want to destroy me. And they have something planned for you." I think about it.

"Ugh. Typical enemies"

"Don't worry I will keep you safe." 

I answer a little grumpy "Hey I can handle myself."  I stand up my strength back.

         "Oh... Ok." He replies probably used to having Katrina to protect, now feeling a bit useless. I look at him my arms crossed.  "Don't get all sentimental Doctor. Don't forget I'm not your girl."  glances towards the door.

"I know...sorry."

"Now they took your sonic right?"

"Well good thing they didn't know I had one." I smirk at him pulling out my own sonic.

He smiles at me finally noticing my sonic "You have a sonic screwdriver!"

      "Yep! I made it. Based off your old one I had when you... " I look down for a minute then proceeds to sonic the door first looking if the coast is clear. "When I what?" He asks. I pause then continue "When you had died on Gallifrey. I took yours as a reminder, remembrance of you."  looks outside the door.

"That's what happened in your world..." He looks down, not knowing what to say.

"Yeah. You died on Gallifrey in the Timewar. Mom held up a little longer but eventually she fell too. Been on my own for all this time. Well come on." I start walking pressing myself against the wall as I check around corners.
