Taehyung's best friend had a crush on Taehyung's crush. It wasn't Jimin's fault. Taehyung never told him that he was deserately in love with Min Yoongi. So Taehyung tries his hardest to be a Yoonmin supporter.

oh and theyre in college, tae has his own tiny house and lives super close to a cafe. just saying so its not confusing.

"Taehyung. I...I like Yoongi Hyung," Jimin confessed.

They were seated on Taehyung's bed, cuddled under thousands of blankets watching this show called Hwarang. It was the end of November, chilly and windy, perfect for cuddling.

"W-what?" Taehyung asked, hoping he heard wrong.

Jimin blushed hard, "I like Yoongi Hyung," He repeated, sitting up.

The blankets fell off of his shoulders, causing him to shiver. Taehyung took notice and wrapped his arms around his best friend.

"Oh. Since when?"

"About a month now," His heart shattered, knowing his best friend was serious. Jimin's crushes were usually fleeting, he changed crushes every other day basically.

How was he supposed to tell Jimin he had loved Yoongi for 3 years? He was good at hiding it around others, focusing on the others in their friend group. But when it was just him and Yoongi? He became a stuttering mess.

Taehyung sucked in a breath, "So it's......it's a real crush, huh? Good for you Jimin!" He attempted to smile, successfully fooling Jimin into thinking he was happy.

'It's alright,' Taehyung thought, 'As long as Jimin and Yoongi are happy. That's all I need,'

"Then I ship Yoonmin," He said nothing more, just laid back down and pretended to fall asleep. Jimin was too absorbed into the show to see the tears that streamed down his face.

Taehyung inhaled as he stepped into the cafe, loving the smell of coffee. Don't get him wrong, coffee was bitter and disgusting no matter how much sugar was in it, but Yoongi generally smelled like coffee.

He happily skipped up to the front counter, greeting the barista. "Hey Bogum! How are you today?"

"I'm doing ok, how are you?" Bogum didn't need to ask for his order, Taehyung had come into the cafe enough times for him to memorize it.

"I'm amazing! I got an 100 on all of my tests today, Jungkookie bought me lunch, and Jimin is coming over later tonight for a sleepover!" He carefully took the hot chocolate out of his hyung's hands, popping the cookie into his mouth so he could use both hands for his drink.

"I think you're a little late though, Jimin and Yoongi are already here,"

"They're here? I didn't know that, I'll go say hi. Thank you, see you tommorrow!" He gently placed the amount needed on the counter, secretly sneaking a very generous tip into the jar.

Taehyung looked around for a second before spotting a mop of mint hair and a neatly combed head of pink hair.

The two were seated across from each other, Jimin wore an angry expression, heavily glaring while Yoongi just sat there, looking out of the window as if he was bored.

The mint haired man scanned the cafe for a second, seemingly trying to find a way to escape, before his sharp eyes landed on Taehyung.

His eyes lit up, gummy smile immediately making its way to his face, gesturing Taehyung over.
