A/N: This Piece was inspired by the painting above as well as the Twilight Zone.
Samuell Beckett walks in, the brim of his hat pulled low to shade his eyes from the bright florescent lights. Looking across the diner he can see a couple, air thick with tension between them. The woman holds up a match book, staring intently upon it. The man sitting next to the woman is staring into space while the server fiddles with something behind the counter.
"Can I get a coffee, black like the night." Samuell's voice is gruff as he breaks the silence as he makes his order known.
"We ain't got no black coffee here. Whataya? A cop? I know that stuff is outlawed." The server's response startles Samuell. Black Coffee Outlawed?
Alone in a diner sit four people on any old night this diner would be filled with life, but tonight for Samuell Beckett, he has just entered an area which we call ... The Twilight Zone.
