<<Day 2 of Match-Making Ijekiel and Jennette: Late Afternoon in Downtown>>>
No one's POV:
The downtown area---located in the center of Obelia--was lined with multiple shops and vendors consisting of various bookstores, magic shops, accessory stores, restaurants, and bakeries on the sidewalks. The streets were not as crowded as it normally were due to the cold weather, and most people preferred to stay home during the winter season. A few carriages stopped by to drop off the noble people. Bits of fresh snow fell from the clear grey, wintry skies and the air was so chilly that people expelled foggy air out of their mouths, while exhaling and conversing with one another.
Third Person POV:
Ijekiel and Jennette travelled from Alpheus's manor to downtown by carriage and got dropped off in the heart of downtown at the drop-off zone. Ijekiel extended out his arm and assisted Jennette, as she carefully descended and hopped out of the carriage to ground level. They were both casually strolling along the sidewalk of downtown to La Vie en Rose Patissiere, which was about ten minutes away by walk.
Poof!
Athanasia and Lucas appeared out of thin air. In a narrow alleyway, they were peeking behind the walls and peeping on Ijekiel and Jennette.
Athanasia's POV:
"Hey Lucas?" I asked.
"What is it, princess?"
"Can it be my turn next? You already blew up the windows earlier."
"As you wish, princess. I am looking forward to what you plan on doing, " Lucas responded amusingly, while stroking his chin.
"It's nothing too spectacular, Lucas. It's just something I think would be romantic to watch. "
"Oh, what is it?"
"I am going to undo Jennette's shoelaces, so that Ijekiel can bend down and tie them for her. Isn't that such a romantic scene? Aren't I brilliant?" I raised my head and smiled to myself for thinking of such an amazing plan.
"...I don't understand why you think that is romantic, but whatever floats your boat. "
"Hush, Lucas. Jennette is going to fall heads-over-heels over Ijekiel when he kneels down like a gentleman and ties her shoelaces for her. You can't understand a lady's feelings."
"Whatever, you should hurry up, or else we are going to walk further ahead of us, " he remarked.
"Yep, I will"
I envisioned Jennette's shoelaces in my mind and transferred my mana through my meridian channels to the tip of my index finger. I twirled and spun my finger to slowly unravel both of her shoelaces in an irregular, spiral pattern. Slowly, Jennette's shoelaces loosen on its own---unnoticed by the owner of the shoe herself or any spectators in the midst of the downtown---except for Lucas and I.
Teehehe! Now Ijekiel has no choice, but to tie both of her shoelaces, since Jennette can't bend down from wearing her crinoline inside her long skirt. Good luck, Jennette! Have fun admiring and falling for Ijekiel's handsome and dashing charms, while you watch him from above as he ties your shoelaces. His face looks so handsome at all angles, even from top view. I almost fell for his charm back then when he put on my muddy shoes for me, so I think you will be even more weak to his charms, since you are more infatuated with him than I ever was for him.
As I watched Ijekiel bowing down on his knees to tie Jennette's shoelaces, I couldn't help, but smile at them.
Wow, what a sight to behold! Ijekiel is kneeling down and tying Jennette's shoelaces for her. They look like a lady and her knight. What an adorable couple!
