7 [Day Well Spent]

Draco

The feeling of Hermione's lips on mine was overpowering. Our love had obviously been rekindled through our 5 second kiss. When we parted I looked deep into her chocolate brown eyes. 

"I don't know what to do." she finally said. "This feels so right... and wrong." 

I had her sit down on the bed and I plopped down next to her, "What do you mean Mione?" 

"I have a child Draco." Hermione said. "I don't know if I'm ready and besides-"

"Rise and shine!" the doors burst open and Mother came in dressed in a long black dress with a matching lace kimono. "Have a nice sleep?"

"O-I- Of course Narcissa." Hermione stuttered. "My sleep was beautiful."

Mother looked skeptical at me, "Did Hermione sleep in your chamber Draco?"

"What?" I said. "I-No!"

Instead of putting on a disappointed front, Mother gave me a gleam of joy through the souls of her dark eyes.

"Interesting." she said. "Breakfast is being prepared downstairs... maybe when you're finished with this rendezvous you would be kind to join us." 

 Once Mother left the chamber Hermione stepped up abruptly. 

"I'm really sorry." she said, "I have to go." 

And with that Hermione left my bedroom. I ran my hand through my silky hair before sighing to myself. Why must she put up a shy front? I've seen her bare before. I've stripped down her emotions one by one and I've even stripped her and shed her of her clothing one by one. Why must she be still critical around me?

I decided that Hermione would get herself and Rose downstairs when they were hungry so I went down to visit Father in his library. 

"One day he will have to do it! They love each other." I heard.

Huh? Whatever was going on between my parents? 

"Narcissa, calm. He's just a boy at 19. Not at the age to be married."

"Look at your hands, do you not feel their quake? He's a grown man and he loves the girls upstairs. They must take over the Malfoy Inc. and the manor before it's too late." I heard Mother sigh, "Let him know how much he meant to you over the years... before it's too late."
