The Tenth Call

"IO GUESS WHAT"

"Seeing as we haven't talked in like three days, I assume something about the play?"

"I got in!!! Not a lead, but still, I got a major supporting character!  Call backs went surprisingly well, and our director said that the girl who I was doing the scene with and I worked super well together! I can't believe I got in!"

"I knew you could do it El! See, where does negativity get you? No where!"

"Thanks! But also, negative things are also a part of life so they gotta be there to keep the balance and for some people it gives them a push to actually do something."

"...Wow, you sound like a poet."

"I'm not a poet, just stating facts"

"Well you state them very poetically"

"Thankss"

"Why so sarcastic! Im giving you a complement"

"Pff, I can hear you pouting on the other side of the phone"

"So what if I am"

"You're a dork"

"What? How did the conversation even get here, we were talking about your poeticness and now your calling me a dork?"

"How does that even work?"

"Well, since you ask, because I say so."

"Woooow, I see how it is"

"Do you though?"

"I'm just going to ignore that comment."

"Aweee, poor Eric can't think up a good comeback"

"I'm glad your back to your sarcastic self."

"Well I'm back and ready with all sorts of sarcastic quips"

"Good to know"

"Anyways, Have you read any good books recently."

"Yeah actually, I just finished a book. It's called Name of the Wind, it's really good, some class A high fantasy."

"Oooh, if your talkin high fantasy you should check out The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, now THAT is some high fantasy!"

"Is it good?"

"Would I be recommending it if it wasn't? It is 1,000 pages of awesomeness"

"That... that's a long book."

"Totally worth the read though, you should definitely check it out."

"Perhaps I will.... if I ever have time."

"Awesome! Well I gotta go, my shift at Iceys starts soon."

"Girl, you have way too much going on, didn't you just get out of school?"

"Yeah, a half hour ago, but its fine. Talk to you later!"
