I do not own any characters from the Percy Jackson series, all characters related to Percy Jackson belong to Rick Riordon.

Percy

We've had such an odd past few days. Annabeth's father still is clueless as to the fact we were gods. Now first he thought we were pregnant. Now if that were true... yikes, I'd be thrown into a pit and be pecked to death by an owl.

"Well, dad..." Annabeth started. "Percy and I saved the world again with five other demigods. This time the gods presented us with a gift that we could not refuse." She sighed, and finished. "Immortality."

Her father stared at us flatly. "So, you are saying that you are a goddess now? My daughter is a goddess?" He began to realize what Annabeth had said.

"Yes dad, Percy is a god and I am a goddess. Now I plan on visiting when I can, but we are very busy now with new responsibility." She said sounding like she was ready to go.

"Dr. Chase, thank you for not giving up on us over the past few years." I said and reached out to shake his hand.

"I am proud of you two, I know I haven't been around much but i'm here to support you if you ever need it." He smiled.

"Thanks dad," Annabeth gave him a hug and turned to me as if to say 'lets go'.

"I still have one more person to see before I head to camp, go on without me, I'll be there soon." I smiled at her. She waved and vanished.

"So Percy, who is this other person you needed to see?" Dr. Chase raised his eye brow.

"Well, sir, that person is you. I need to talk to you about something more serious." I said shakily.

Here we go, no turning back now. "Sir,..." I started to say tripping over my words. "I was wondering if I could have your daughter's hand in marriage." I finished, breathing heavy.

Dr. Chase was never intimidating to me, he always was kind to us when we visited. He came over to me and put his hands around me, "Of course Percy, you two were we bound to be together." He happily cried. Of course he was on the emotional side, but he was a genuine man.

"Sir, I will keep you updated on everything, but now I must head back to Camp," I hugged him back and evaporated into a mist and reappeared at Camp Half-Blood.

It was already early evening, campers were doing their own thing. I just decided to have a blue coke. It's nice being a god. I went down to the beach as I did every night and practiced some of the techniques that Poseidon had taught me to focus in on the power that I have. As I began to focus, I gained a new sense that felt the presence of heroes and monsters all around.

Suddenly I heard a scream. Then the Alarm sounded.

"PERCY WE NEED YOU," I heard Will Solace yell.

I sprinted up to the top of the hill. No... I thought. It's too early for this to start happening. There was a group of monsters... the silence of the humanoids, the tactics they used.  This can't be happening already. These people wore black cloths over their faces, the armor was oriental in style, and never spoke.

The campers were lined up fighting these things but they wouldn't die. Something was off. "Where is the campers from Hephaestus cabin?" I yelled looking everywhere for Annabeth.

"Behind you! DUCK!" Annabeth called out. Woosh.

Greek Fire. The most dangerous substance known to man. The Hephaestus campers had been tweaking the recipe and added some thermite to the concoction.

I looked up and saw the explosion hit the entire group of enemies... but that just stood there, now on fire. "What are these guys?!" Clarisse shouted. She stood with the Ares cabin holding the enemies back from getting into the camp.
