Becoming a god, it's supposed to be easy, my joints still feel like lava

I do not own Percy Jackson or any of the characters involved within the Heroes of Olympus Series, all character rights belong to Rick Riordon.

PERCY

Annabeth and I were still sitting by the lake at Camp Half-blood. We have our goals finish high school without getting sliced to pieces or starting any more wars... Annabeth and I had been through enough the past five years. Just looking at her still made me blush, gods she was beautiful. I smiled.

"What's up Seaweed brain?" she laughed.

"Nothing, I just can't wait to see what comes next for us. Hopefully we can make it through a school year without having to run errands for the gods." I laughed and let out a sigh. Honestly though. It's hard being a child of one of the Olympians. We always have to do their bidding or we can cause some serious problems for mortals. Oh Well. Hopefully now Annabeth and I...

Suddenly out of nowhere we heard this creaking and metallic noise coming from Long Island Sound. It couldn't be... Annabeth and I ran to the water, behind us Nico, Jason, Piper, and Reyna were sprinting. Nico was yelling something like "I'm gunna kill him even though he already died once, I'm gunna kill him." Jason and Piper were both in complete shock, oddly enough it didn't seem to surprise him at all. Hazel had popped up out of nowhere as well as Frank. Reyna stood in disbelief. "That's impossible."

"I had a feeling." I smirked and kissed Annabeth on the cheek, suddenly realizing that the spec that was in the distance was getting larger and larger.... It was headed straight for us.

"EVERYBODY RUN" I shouted. Sprinting and dragging my friends with me.

"Percy!" Annabeth screamed. "Drop to the ground" She pulled me down as I felt this rush of wind pass over me. The smell of coal and oil burning and the sounds of metal creaking. Festus. I thought. I looked up and saw the newly made runway that the dragon had made crash landing with not one, but two people on it. I soon realized it was Calypso and the one and only Leo. He sure knew how to make entrances.

"It can't be." Annabeth said shocked. She looked over at Nico who shrugged. Hazel gave a weak smile, while frank may or may not have turned as red as a tomato. I wonder... Could he turn into a tomato? That's a different subject for a different day though.

I got to my feet and pulled Annabeth up, and jogged to see Leo and Calypso.

"You are a sight for sore eyes." I said in disbelief.

"Think that I would actually not survive?" Leo said grinning.

"Please Leo, Hazel told us already, I aught to kill you myself though." Nico scowled.

I could tell Jason felt a whole lot of stress leave his body. Piper looked at the other person.

"Calypso, is it really you?" I said.

"Why yes Percy, Leo found me and rescued me from the island," She said. I think she was kind of upset at me still? I can never tell though when girls are upset with me.

As if things couldn't get any more weird. A storm was forming over head and Chiron Galloped down in full Centaur form.

"Heroes" he said in his wise fatherly voice, "I have been instructed to bring you all to Olympus for a special council of the gods."

For the first time in over a year, we are going back to the council of the gods. I looked over to Annabeth who seemed to be worried.

"I made you a promise, together till the end." I gripped her hand tighter. She gave me a weak smile. "You're the best Seaweed Brain."

Reyna frowned, "Wait Olympus is where?!"

"It took me awhile to adjust to it too, crazy I have Olympus in my back yard pretty much." I explained. The Empire State Building always had the unique nature of being a centerpiece to New York City. As we entered the lobby we saw mortals walking in and out minding their own business.
