Princess Anai grew under the watchful eyes of her mother. Wherever Anai went, her mother followed. Although Queen Agatha was overjoyed at her precious daughter Anai, she was more obsessed with her perfect image. From her handsome husband to her faultless twins, perfection was the standard, and because of this mindset, she was especially strict on the little princess named Anai.
Everyday, Queen Agatha thought of Anai and her actions in the forest. She couldn't comprehend from where she had learned to kill but it didn't matter now, the queen made sure to nip it in the bud before it evolved into something more.
----
It was a warm afternoon in the kingdom and the three princesses had just finished their meeting afternoon tea. Princess Anai had developed into a beautiful young woman. Although she was only 14, she was a pure vision of perfection but of course with great beauty, grows hateful eyes.
"Let's play a fun game sisters" Elaine, the eldest of the twins smiled. Princess Anai sat up straighter, eager to play games with her sisters. "We will play castle! I will be the queen and Ella, you the princess" she bragged.
"And what will I be" Princess Anai chimed, jumping excitedly.
"Hmmm....you will be the ....freak!" Elaine smiled, standing up and giggling with her sister.
"I want to be a princess! I do not want to play the freak" Anai stomped, standing up to follow her sisters.
"I am the eldest and the roles have already been assigned." Elaine bragged, adjusting her crown to begin her play.
Anai looked to her other sister for help, but she only shrugged, following her twin."Sorry Anai, the roles have been assigned" Ella bragged, thinking her role was as important as Elaine's.
"Well..it is not play for you Ella. Everyday you are a dumb princess who follows everything Elaine commands" princess Anai teased.
"Well! At least I am not a freak like YOU" Ella scoffed and Elaine giggled. Both the sisters laughed pointing at Anai as they taunted her.
"I am not!"
"But you are! Why do you think mother follows you everyday and makes you carry that little golden ball everywhere?" her eldest sister pouted, glaring at the little silk pouch in disgust.
"Don't think we do not see you venturing off to the forest, probably to kill more frogs. FREAK" Elaine giggled.
They circled around her, pushing her closer and closer to the table where they just finished their tea.
"I go to the forest to play because you two exclude me" Anai explained, glaring at her sisters in rage but her older sisters did not care for her sentiments. They always gave her grief.
"And all you can do is pout! Anai is a freak!" Elaine cursed, pushing her arm.
"Anai is freak!" Ella followed, pushing her until she stumbled into the table and pushed the porcelain teapot onto the floor. The loud crashing sound was enough to alert her mother who was just walking past the garden.
"ANAI!!!" Queen Agatha yelled, running to where her daughter laid on the floor. Small pieces of glass had cut into her skin, ripping her pantyhose.
"Mother! Look! Anai took the pot and smashed it to the floor! Look! Now she has ruined our day" Elaine pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. Ella nodded, of course taking the side of her twin.
"Anai, are you okay? Why on earth would you do that?"
"They are liars" Anai protested.
"And look! Your pretty pouch is stained!" her mother complained not checking on the well-being of her kin.
They are right!
You are a freak!
