4 years ago today is when Danny proposed to me
It was the best moment of my life well besides having my daughter
It all went down like this

On July 18 2016 when I was 20 and Danny was 21
We where on vacation just me and him
We where alone in our hotel room
I came downstairs
Danny called me into the living room

I know we've been together since the beginning of high school

My eyes started to water
He's the sweetest I said in my head
And I've been wanting to ask you this since we graduated I just couldn't find the right time

This is the perfect time
"Is he doing what think he's doing?!" I said in my head
He got down on one knee
"He is!!!" I said in my head
He pulled a small blue velvet box out of his pocket

Yes I said nodding and crying tears of joy
He slid the ring onto my ring finger
He got up
He kissed me passionately
