How a part in the chapter 'The End of the Great War' could've gone

I apologize for the unnecessarily long title.

Anyway the part when Abalyes wakes in in the morning and Gallaniara and Thalleous are nowhere to be seen, was meant to be quite a bit different.

Abalyes was meant to wake up around midnight. She was meant to catch them doing the ehhh (I don't really want to say), but not disturb them. She would go sit at the campfire which was still lit, until she heard Gallaniara moan? 'harder'. Abalyes was to go a fair way from the campsite and sit on a log, drawing random shapes in the dirt. She would've still met Galleous, but their conversation was meant to go a little different, like this:

I heard footsteps come up behind me and I looked up to see Thalleous there. But something was off. He looked like Thalleous, but something was different.
"Uh, you're not going to attack me?" Who I thought was Thalleous said. His voice sounded different. I looked at him confused. "I'll take that as a no?"
"Oh, sorry. No, I'm not going to attack you. Who are you?" I asked him.
"I'm Galleous. My brother, Thalleous, asked me to meet him somewhere round here. Do you know where he is?" I raised an eyebrow.
"In fact, I do. Go that direction until you see a campsite. Come back if you find something you don't like." I pointed him in the direction of my camp. He nodded and walked to it.

A few minutes later, he returned with a surprised and almost disgusted look on his face.
"Did you find him?" I asked him, slightly amused because of his expression.
"I did and I really regret it," he replied. "I can see why you're not over there."
"Exactly." Galleous sat down next to me. "Do you have anywhere to stay?"
"I do, but you look like you need some company."
"You don't have to if you don't want to."
"I'm going to stay." He had a serious expression on his face. I smiled.

Eventually I managed to tire Galleous out and he fell asleep on my shoulder. I stayed awake all night and in the same position he had fallen asleep on me.

He woke up a couple of hours later and realized he was leaning his head on my shoulder.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" He said and hastily got up.
"It's completely fine," I said with a smile. "I'm gonna head back to camp. You coming?" Galleous gave a slight nod and followed me back to camp.

That's where the part would merge with the ending to the chapter. Quite different right? Geez, some imagination I have.
