The English Ending: Sequel to Turning Tables

I Loved You...

-Nico's POV-

We were sitting on the beach, gray clouds covering the sun, and the wind beating the shore. It was just the at we liked it.

High waves, but warm water. Cloudy skies, but still a lot of fun. I was in the knee deep in the water, and he was calling out to me to farther.

I did.

I followed my prince farther and farther out. The waves grew larger, until they were hitting my neck. Then one swept me off my feet.

I came up gasping for air and sputtering.

"Percy!" I screamed, "PERCY!"

I felt something grab my leg. Not a rough hold, gentle, almost comforting. It gently pulled me under, and I opened my eyes, the salt water not burning them.

Percy looked back at me, smiling, his Raven hair floating freely around his head.

I nodded and closed my eyes. We sunk, until there was no light left to see by.

I awoke with a start, sobbing, the place next to me empty, cold. I could feel his love, and it was so real.

My phone went off.

"Sally" the notification popped up. But that's impossible. She's dead. This can't be happening...

"I open the text with a shaky hand and an audio recording pops up. I press play.

"Nico," Percy's voice said. "I need you to go home. I just can't do this anymore, ugh!"

That settled it. I booked the soonest flight, and races to the airport. I called Hazel to let her know I was going to be at their airport in 14 hours. Percy was not going on my watch.

One thing bothered me... Why did it send off of Sally's phone? She can't be sending texts if she's dead, right?

Either way, I flew back to New York, and one plane ride full of annoying kids, gross adults, and slutty flight attendants, I was back.

"Nico..." Hazel says when I walk up to her.

"It's nice to see you," I say, pulling her in for a hug.

"Nico, Percy... He... He never made it back."

How? It makes sense now why he wouldn't call or text me. I knew I should've been more worried.

I never got much time to think about if, because just then, all Hades broke loose.
