The atmosphere hits quite different as Cathy stuffs her notes in her bag and pulls it over her shoulders, a strand of her brown hair almost gets dragged into the zipper.

This wasn't something new..this is what you get for having brown curly hair and not normal sleeked hair like the white kids do but her hair was cute or so she was told.
"You've got to be kidding me" she tugs at her hair and begins to carefully pull it out, a figure heads her away and ends up walking beside her.

Why does someone always have to find a way to stalk her?

Catherine tries to ignore the figure who was now walking side by side with her...the person uses their elbow to bump the part of her body that connects to her stomach.

Her eyes scan the parking lot a mile away hoping to see her parent's green Camry car pull into the drive way, but no nothing.....they didn't bother to bring her to school now she has to find a way to go home all by herself.

"What do you want?" She finally brings herself to say something, the figure beside her has a placid smile and surprisingly two mixtures of hair color.

Black and brown.

The hair fits him though...it was surprising how he could pull it off knowing how it would look like trash on other people.

"Ummm...nothing" he rolls his head backwards and pretends as if nothing was actually happening, Catherine looks behind her waiting to spot Luke and the others because this was probably just another one of their pranks.

"So I'm just going to pretend as if you're not following me?" She asks again and they both stop...standing in the middle of the parking lot.

"Following you?"

Catherine rolls her eyes at this guy, he's quite an handful and completely unbelievable.

"I was just walking and like I just saw you and I was like...oh hey!..go disturb cathy-"

Catherine finds herself chuckling at his comment even if she totally shouldn't be doing that right now.

"And where are you going with this?"

Yes,she actually wanted to see where this would end or what silly thing he would come up with.

"And then you stopped and the drool came running over and I almost actually slipped on it and fell....you couldn't seem to get enough even though you practically are like...dang, momma's gotta get me some of that"

Now she was laughing pretty hard,he's always had his good side of him and Catherine had forgotten she shouldn't be talking to him right now.

They both head towards the bench and sit down in relief while aching their backs unto the wooden structure.

"So...what were you saying, that you weren't following me?...yeah right" Catherine decides to clear things up and a smile forms unto his lips.

"I wasn't"

"Oh really,you weren't?"

"We just happen to walk down the same path and sit on the same bench and oh look...we're talking too" he replies and Catherine just tries to sink into the atmosphere and let the cool breeze overwhelm her.

Her fingers find the zipper of her leather bag and she pulls out her head phones before turning the volume up and slipping it over her head.

"Whatcha doing?"
