3RD PERSON POV

The teacher asked who wanted Xiao Zhan to be his table partner and many people raised their hands but Lan Zhan stood up "Me"

Xiao Zhan smiled "Teacher, I'll sit with him" The teacher nodded and Xiao Zhan hopped over to the desk.

Xiao Zhan leaned in and Lan Zhan's eyes widened. "Wang Zhan... Hi! We are both named Zhan! Nice to meet you"

'... It's Lan Zhan. I'm Lan Zhan, Wei Ying.' Lan Zhan thought but nodded his head with a slight smile- something he learned in these 16 years.

"You're the quiet type! It's okay, I'll do the talking for you!" Xiao Zhan smiled brightly. Lan Zhan remembered Wei Ying's signature smile.

'I'm glad I found you' Lan Zhan thought as he took in Xiao Zhan's features, his heart lighting up.

Two years passed and the two got together for a year already. It happened on a school trip when Lan Zhan drank wine and hugged Xiao Zhan, telling him he loves him and that he doesn't want to let him go.

The next day, Xiao Zhan confessed to him and the two got together. Xiao Zhan loves Lan Zhan, because of how overprotective he is towards him.

Xiao Zhan being smaller sized, got targeted and bullied before and it was Lan Zhan who saved him. The whole year, Lan Zhan stood by him and was always there for him. Besides, he had a secret about Wang Zhan.

However, Lan Zhan felt that something was missing. Despite feeling the huge need to protect Xiao Zhan, he could not help but compare the past Wei Ying with the present Xiao Zhan.

Even so, the two had been together for a year and they both enrolled in WXYZ University in WXYZ Province.

Xiao Zhan tugged Lan Zhan's shirt "Wang Zhan... I'm a little nervous..." Lan Zhan smiled at Xiao Zhan acting cute "Because you're going to live with another person who looks just like me?"

"Because you said your parents will be there!" Xiao Zhan exclaimed as he hopped around Lan Zhan "I'm so nervous!"

Lan Zhan smiled "It'll be fine" The two then entered the house the Wang parents rented for their two sons when the two were enrolled into WXYZ University.

"Oh my! You're so cute!" Madam Wang immediately pulled a nervous and blushing Xiao Zhan in.

"You're scaring him..." Mr Wang said and waved his hand "Come in, it's great to finally see you"

The four were talking together when someone suddenly entered the house with headphones on.

He scanned the area and his eyes landed on Xiao Zhan. The intense staring made Lan Zhan frown and Xiao Zhan feeling a little shy.

"Don't be rude, Yibo." Mr Wang said, noticing his stares while Madam Wang got up and ushered him in "Quickly come in!"

"That's Xiao Zhan?" Yibo said while pointing to Xiao Zhan with his finger. "Don't be rude!" Mr Wang reminded, signaling for Yibo to put his hand down.

"Your future brother-in-law!" Madam Wang said, making Xiao Zhan blush and Lan Zhan smiled faintly. Marrying Wei Ying? That is a dream come true.

Yibo scoffed "Yeah sure" Xiao Zhan slightly frowned as Yibo wasn't being very welcoming.

Madam Wang cooked the dinner which Xiao Zhan was full of praises of. Xiao Zhan promised to cook the next time they came over.

Before the Wang parents left, they took a picture. But since Yibo wasn't willing, he was the one taking the pictures. Yibo took slightly blurry pictures but was eventually forced to take a proper picture.

"Wang Zhan... Yibo doesn't like me?" Xiao Zhan asked as he sat on the edge of the bed. Lan Zhan pat his head "He is a little naughty but I'm sure he'll like you"

Xiao Zhan smiled and hugged Lan Zhan "Thank you..."

Lan Zhan felt his heart thump, imagining the two of them in the past. Imagining that instead of Wei Ying falling down the cliff, Wei Ying walked forward and hugged him and thanked him.

"Thank you" Lan Zhan replied back and Xiao Zhan giggled "I did nothing for you to thank me. Quickly go bathe!"

Lan Zhan took his clothes and went off to the bathroom. Xiao Zhan decided to get water for both of them but flinched when he heard a shout.

"What are you?! A ghost?! Why didn't you on the lights!" Yibo scolded and Xiao Zhan bit his lower lip. "I was just... taking water..."

Yibo stepped forward, making Xiao Zhan step back and the two only stopped when Xiao Zhan's back hit the kitchen island.

"You... This is how you seduced my brother?" Wang Yibo said and Xiao Zhan's eyes widened "What?"

"Why? Do you not have enough money so you want to live off him?" Wang Yibo hissed as he leaned closer and Xiao Zhan frowned "I... didn't... I'm not..."

"Wang Yibo" A cold voice called that made the two turn their heads. Yibo straightened and replied with a cold voice "What"

Lan Zhan only walked over and grabbed Xiao Zhan by the hand, pulling him back to the room, while Yibo stared at them.

"Sorry" Lan Zhan said and Xiao Zhan shook his head with a smile. He loves when Lan Zhan protects him.

"Tell me if something like that ever happens again" Lan Zhan said and Xiao Zhan nodded while hugging him "Thank you"

Lan Zhan only stroked Xiao Zhan's hair and brought him to the bed where they slept.
