Half a year passed and often, Xiao Zhan would find himself being cornered or scolded by Yibo.

But he didn't want to tell Lan Zhan who was not only taking Business Management but also Business Marketing and Business Logistics.

Lan Zhan would come back very late and Xiao Zhan didn't want to tire him. And today, Xiao Zhan was cooking when Yibo pushed him, making him burn his arm.

Yibo grabbed Xiao Zhan's hand "Did you burn yourself?" Xiao Zhan nodded and Yibo chuckled "This small thing is called scalding, not burning"

Yibo then left and Xiao Zhan hurried to place the cooked food on the plate before washing his hand under the tap water, fighting his tears through the burning pain.

Lan Zhan came back a few minutes after dinner was ready and Xiao Zhan was so happy to see him. "Zhan, come eat"

Lan Zhan looked at him and pat his head before sitting down. Xiao Zhan held his hand "I know you're tired but just eat a little, alright?"

Lan Zhan smiled and nodded. He didn't have to say he was tired and Xiao Zhan would know. Besides, the food Xiao Zhan makes is delicious, even tuning down the flavour to suit his taste.

Lan Zhan remembered the night Xiao Zhan first cooked for them. Yibo spat it out and scolded him because the food was bland.

Xiao Zhan's dishes was only bland because Lan Zhan preferred bland food and from then, Xiao Zhan made the effort to cook two portions, one with more spice and the other more bland.

Yibo watched them holding hands and rolled his eyes as he grabbed some food. However, he accidentally ate the food from the bland dish and immediately spat it out.

"Ruin my appetite!" Yibo said before standing up but Lan Zhan immediately stood up. "Yibo, clear your own dishes"

Yibo only glared at the two before turning around, despite Lan Zhan calling him again. Xiao Zhan pulled Lan Zhan down "Quickly eat before it's cold and go rest up"

Lan Zhan frowned "Does he usually not do the dishes?" Xiao Zhan hesitated "... He... He must be in a bad mood today!"

Xiao Zhan then quickly fed Lan Zhan and ushered him into the room, insisting on cleaning the plates.

When Xiao Zhan returned to the room, Lan Zhan had already bathed was doing his work so Xiao Zhan quickly bathed too.

Sitting behind Lan Zhan, Xiao Zhan back hugged him. "Is that due tomorrow?"

Lan Zhan shook his head and Xiao Zhan smiled "Why don't you rest for today? Take a good rest before continuing"

Lan Zhan organized his things and stood up "Mn, let's sleep" Xiao Zhan smiled widely and pulled Lan Zhan on the bed, hugging him.

Lan Zhan looked at Xiao Zhan. He felt grateful that Wei Ying was also reborn and came back to him. But... something felt different. Lan Zhan shook his head and went to sleep.

The next day, Lan Zhan had left early in the morning and Xiao Zhan shouted when he saw Yibo's face.

"Y-Yibo...? W-What are you d-doing here?" Xiao Zhan stammered. Yibo smirked "So you can differentiate me and my brother?"

Xiao Zhan frowned "Of course!" then whispered "He is so much more handsome than you..."

"I heard that!" Yibo shouted. He then grabbed Xiao Zhan's arm, making him yelp in pain. "Weakling!"

Xiao Zhan watched in surprise as Yibo took medicine from the first aid box and applied it for him. "Yibo..."

"What!" Yibo replied while pressing the cotton bud hard, making Xiao Zhan flinch "... Did you take the wrong medicine today?"

Yibo who was wrapping Xiao Zhan's arm halfway squeezed it, making Xiao Zhan shout in pain.

Suddenly, the door barged open and Lan Zhan pushed Yibo away. "Wang Yibo! What are you doing!"

Yibo only glared at Lan Zhan and silently left while Xiao Zhan grabbed his arm "Hey, he was only helping me treat my burnt wound"

"You burnt yourself?" Lan Zhan frowned and Xiao Zhan nodded "It... It was an accident..."

Wang Yibo who stood outside rolled his eyes and went back to his room, crashing a few things here and there.

Lan Zhan sat down and continued wrapping the wound for Xiao Zhan. "No wonder you wore long sleeve yesterday..."

Xiao Zhan gave a sheepish smile and Lan Zhan held his arm "Sorry... Sorry for not giving you much attention..."

"It's fine, I understand. You still have classes right? You should quickly get going" Xiao Zhan pushed Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan only pat his head and left. He had been neglecting his Wei Ying who he promised to take care of properly if he had a second chance.

But it could not be helped. Lan Zhan felt like his love for Xiao Zhan was not big enough to go further into their relationship like wanting to touch him. Like the past.

Did something go wrong? Did he somehow love Wei Ying lesser or was he too stuck on the past Wei Ying?

Because Xiao Zhan should be treated as a different person. It is wrong for him to expect Xiao Zhan to be just like Wei Ying just because Xiao Zhan is his reincarnation.
