Zombies breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

First day senior year of college.

   Have you ever had one of those nights you just can't sleep? I'm Gavin and I hate those nights! My brain just wouldn't stop spinning and I needed sleep 6 am came early. It's about 2 am and I'm still awake!

    Georgia just had to tell me that she was driving when a guy ran out and started banging on her trunk, she hit the gas and drove the last mile way too fast. The guy was all bloody and only a mile from here. I asked why she didn't stop to help him.

     She said he was missing most of his body. How was he even standing up? Yeah that's what was going through my head. I wasn't sure which street she took to get here but Boston is huge with many streets leading to Harvard. I'm in my senior year of med school. I'm going to be a hell of a doctor I was all ready to intern at Boston medical.

    Peter was going to be a lawyer like his dad. Georgia well she's going to be a lawyer too. I'm pretty sure they're getting married after college. Then there's my sweet Honey she's going to be a doctor like me and we both got accepted to intern at Boston medical. We are all set to get married in December. We all agreed to wait until marriage.

    No consummating before!  Damn now I'm thinking about sex great! Honey is short for Honnoria I don't blame her going by Honey. She's just perfect for me. She's 5' 3", with long dark brown hair with red highlights, honey brown eyes. She has a beautiful tan completion. Her hair is to her knees when she lets it down. It's usually in a bun.

      Georgia is tall 5' 9", short black hair and dark green eyes, she's got a Carmel skin tone. Peter is 6' 8" black hair, dark brown eyes that look black. He's got the darkest completion. He can win in a game of hide and seek.

   I'm just your average sandy haired man. With hazel eyes. I'm 6' 11". Yeah I'm teased about being too tall. As I finally fall asleep I dream of crazy people who are biting everyone. I awake at 6 am and groan.

    I don't want to get up with so little sleep but I have no choice. Duty calls! Honey peeks in and says that they cancelled school because of people eating each other. WTF zombies are fiction right? I just wanted to get the intros done so I could come back and nap.

      Who let the zombies out? Breakfast was interrupted by campus police telling us to board up our windows and doors. As we watched from our chore of hammering the wood that they gave us on our windows we saw someone out jogging and they were tackled by a zombie who took a big chunk out of the person.

      We started hammering faster. Honey was sobbing at this point as was Georgia. Peter and I finished the windows and doors except our back door. It was our only means of escape. Now we were checking our food situation and drinks. Damn thinking about drinks I wish I picked up some Bourbon and whiskey.

       Honey was helping me out. Peter was checking to see if we had everything ready for bug out. And yes we were going to be smart and take medical supplies. My sweet Honey looked at me and said I fucking hate this. Wow where did that come from this sweet girl never cusses. As we set everything by the door for a quick get away, I heard glass break near our living room.

     I run up the hall and see the boards breaking and arms reaching for peter. " Run damn it Peter let's go!" Georgia grabs Peter's arm and pulls him toward the hall. " Run everyone, grab the bags and get to Honey's SUV!" As we make it out the back door they're running towards the hall.

  I slam the door and start running after everyone else. Okay I grab Honey's hand and get her to her vehicle. She uses her thumb to unlock her door and hit's the unlock all on her door panel. She gets in and slams her door just in time. We all buckle up and urge her to get the vehicle in gear.

    Hands slam against the windows as she starts pulling away! We head towards the back roads since all the highways look like chaos. Peter calls his mom and she tells him to head for Vermont, all our family is together and headed there!

     As we start to leave Boston we see a family in a stalled car. We stop next to them and ask if they're okay or need a lift. They ask for a lift and we let them in the way back and get going again. The father introduces his family and himself. " This is Patty my wife and our son Markus and I'm Harry." We introduce ourselves and welcome them. I was watching ahead when Honey says, "I'm not sure how much longer I can drive babe."

      I offer to take over and we get going again. I look at the gas gauge and see it's t a quarter of a tank. " We need to stop and get gas everyone!" I say. Harry says, " next road goes to a gas station in about 2 minutes."  I look at him and nod. We get to the gas station and the attendant comes out to see what's up and why there's blood on the SUV.

Author's note this is my first fiction and I hope you like it! I'm trying to get the story up but I'm nervous so please feel free to point out mistakes and I will try to fix them. It seems like there's nothing wrong here so far. But please let me know. Also please comment and vote thanks 😊🥰!
