John's POV
Just when I thought everything is going to be all right. then something wrong has happened to Vince. Why does this always happen anyway? Why can't Irina be happy? Even just once?
After the doctor came in to check Vince's vital signs and after when Vince took a nap again, we asked the doctor why he doesn't remember Irina when he remembers the rest of us. While the doctor was talking, all I could see on Irina's face is pain.
"How are you Vince?" I asked Vince while his mom is preparing his food at the table. His smiled and said his okay. "You remember me, right?"
And this made him laugh. "Are you kidding me? Of course! Why wouldn't I?"
"Okay, who am I?" I questioned him with a very serious face.
He face-palmed and tried to grin. "Look, you're John Minah. My cousin, president of John Macasious. What are you worrying about anyway? You're really creeping me out, you know. I don't know what's happening here."
My face turned hot as I hear what he just said. "What? You don't know what's happening right now?! Who am I Vince? WHO AM I?!"
He sat and laughed. "I mean, I don't know what happened to you guys. You, Jessica and Hyung keep asking me if I remember you guys. I mean, what the hell? You get me?" (Brother is Hyung, which is Andrew)
As Vince finished talking, I felt a hand touched my right shoulder that made me look behind. And there I see his mom giving me a look which stood for, 'Let him rest for now.' I stood up and gave Vince a bro-handshake while saying, "Well, then, I'll see you later."
Auntie walked me to the door and said, "I talked to the doctor --"
"Wait," I interrupted her talking, "She needs to hear this." She nodded her head and we went inside the room again. When we opened the door, all I saw was Vince eating while Irina was watching him from a far. Tears are falling down from her eyes as she stares at him. Vince is not even paying attention to Irina, even if she's staring at him WHILE CRYING.
I shouldn't have left her inside there alone with Vince. Well, good thing she didn't talk to him, because apparently, all that thing will ever do to Irina is make her cry even more.
"Irina," I called and Irina turned to me. She wiped her tears and Vince turned to my direction, too. "Come, I'm hungry, let's eat," I said.
"Vince, I'm going to get something really quick, all right?" Auntie told Vince and he casually nodded his head. "Do you want to watch T.V. or something? So that you won't be bored?"
He shook his said and said, "Nope, I'm okay. I'll just eat then sleep."
"Okay son. Well, if you need anything, you can call me. You have a land line phone there, call the nurse or you can call me. Okay?"
He smiled. "Gumawoo," and he bowed his said.
I smiled at Vince and he did, too. We were about to close the door when he called.
"Wait! Hold up!"
"What is it?" I asked him.
"There's actually one thing I want. Can you get me a Rocky-Road Ice Cream?" As he said this, Irina looked up. "I want like a container of Rocky-Road Ice Cream."
