"Wake up, Etta."
"Uh, leave me alone."
"WAKE UP HENRIETTA!" Stella screamed close to my ears.
That was enough to wake me up because of the sensitive wolf hearing. I wonder how that does not hurt her.
"Can't she see someone is trying to get some sleep." Jackie, my wolf , said.
I agreed with her.
You see, my wolf and I value our sleep so much especially in the morning, and it's just a wonder how Stella just manage to be so hyperactive in the mornings.
"You better get up before she starts shaking you." Jackie grumbled. And I did just that.
"Okay, am up." I said, rubbing my eyes and yawning.
I am definitely not a morning person. It takes a lot to get me out of the bed. Or a little if you involve 'the banshee', huff.
"Thank the Moon Goddess. Cos it seems you have forgotten th-that that th-that..." Stella stammered. This happens when she is really excited about something.
"Can't she just get on with whatever she wants to say,I really want to sleep." Jackie said angrily.
"Calm down Jackie. We just need to calm her down. I can't do it if I also need to calm you down." I told Jackie.
"But I want her to leave."
"Then, we'll have to work together."
"Fine but after this she will leave."
"Stella, you need to calm down. Deep breaths bae. In. Out. In. Out." I told her.
She took deep breaths and relaxed which might just end after she says what she wants to say. That is if she's not interrupted.
As she was about to talk, Winter barged in. Like I said, she was interrupted and was about to scr....
"Etta, Stella. The Alphas are here." Winter said out of breath.
This can't be good, I thought. I haven't even dressed up. We were not ready for anything
"Speak for yourself dear" Jackie said sarcastically.
"Wecan'tgotothepackhousenowbecausewecan'tbeseenJoeisgoingtobeverymad." Stella rushed looking very scared.
"Stella please repeat what you said." I told her.
And she said,"I said that, we can't go to the pack house because we can't be seen and Joe is going to be very mad."
I panicked. I started feeling guilty because if I had woken up earlier, we would have made to the pack before the Alphas arrive. I told them that. And Winter said it has nothing to do with me waking up late.
Winter said that they were going to the RoyalMoon pack but decided to rest for a while in our pack which is the BlueMoon pack. I wondered why. And she told us that our pack is halfway to the other pack, and that it took them two days to reach our pack. I asked Winter why it took them that long. Stella said that she heard through rumors that they were from the North and that one of the Alphas' beta came instead of the Alpha. Trust Stella to get that type of information.
"Etta, Stella and Winter come down now. Martha is looking for all of you." My mom shouted from downstairs.
"Okay Mom." I shouted back.
"Now shoo your friends out so that you can bath. You smell horrible." Jackie said putting her paw over her snout.
"You seem to forget that you are me and am you. So your also referring to yourself." I told her.
"Whatever"
"Now shoo girls. I wanna prepare." I told my besties.
Stella sashayed out while Winter walked out like a normal being she is. Those girls are just too much.
"I won't have accepted them as my friends if not that I like my besties too. You humans are just weird." Jackie said flipping her head

You can imagine a wolf doing that. Very awkward and funny, hahaha.
"Are you done talking about me? Because you might want to close your ears" she said sarcastically.
Just at moment, Stella shouted from outside my door telling me to be fast.
You know there's something called mindlink, Stella.
I just love to shout at you cos you look cute when angry.
I blocked her out and went to go and prepare.
"Like a good girl."
Not ready to argue with her, I just ignored her.
"Like I said, like a good girl."
I just rolled my eyes to that because she's always looking for opportunities to pick on me. But she's my sweetest bestie.
"Good for you."
