"The woman is so nice" Said Rahina as soon as we left Aliya's house. "What's even her name?"

"Hajiya Farida" I uttered with Aliya's thought pacing in my mind, she was surprised to see me in their house today – I saw it in her face.

"Exactly, that's her name!" Rahina said while holding my hand. "And that reminds me! We should warn Hadiza never to approach that store again or any other place in the name of stealing, what's even wrong with her please?"

"I don't think the problem is from her, but her friend. Lets just wait till we get to the station!" I muttered hoping that she could let me be so that I could concentrate on Aliya's thoughts...

"I also think it's her friend's fault" She huffed thinking I would reply her, but I only nodded my head and that was all. Hence, she leaned her head on my shoulder. "You're tired, koh?"

"Yes!" I said without hesitation.

"Okay don't worry, we will go home soon" She said and never utter Anything again until we were finally in the station. And after bailing Hadiza and her friend out, we drove home...

"Take a shower" Rahina said as we entered our room, she couldn't even let me eat first!

"Okay" I muttered.

"Good" She beamed at me.

Thence I headed towards the cabinet and changed into a bathrobe before finding my way into the bathroom and turning the shower on. It felt great how every drop of the water reminds me of Aliya. I had never really wanted her to know I had a wife, and now that she knew about it I know my chances of courting her is very slight. Oh God, if I had known it was their house we were driving to then I wouldn't have allowed Rahina to follow me. I mulled over. And just as I kept thinking about Aliya, I felt a gentle embrace from my back. It nearly frightened me but I was able to control myself, after all I already had a hunch of whom it was. And who could that be if not my annoying wife, Rahina? Well, I should have locked up the bathroom's door earlier!

*******

As the shower continued showering on us, Rahina began running her hands over my body in silence. Yes, she didn't say anything and I also didn't utter anything to her until her hands finally reached my genital – that was when I reacted. "No, please..." I managed to utter, not because of anything but because allowing her to continue would lead to something and I wasn't ready for that thing. And why must it even be everyday? How I wish it was with Aliya, I wouldn't have mind because I wholeheartedly loved the chubby and hot girl. She was as beautiful as one of my crushes back then in secondary school, Khadijah Bello. The girl married a wealthy man after our school and relocated to Lagos with him. I guess they now have 5 to 6 kids together, I really wish them the best in their married life.

After the shower, Rahina got me dressed in my bathrobe and then put on hers before we both headed out. "Should I bring your supper here or get it arranged for you in the dining?" She asked walking majestically to the closet.

"I prefer dining" I said with a sigh.

"Okay" She said and brought my jallabiya for me. After putting it on me, she held my hand firmly. "Lets go and eat before we pray, okay?"

"Okay" I said.

Just then she placed a kiss on my lips with a smile. "I am the one to feed you" She uttered.

"Alright then" I managed to smile back.

Thence, we headed downstairs with 'her' leading the way. "Sit here, let me go and call Batula to help me arrange everything" She said the moment we were in the dining room.

"Okay, no problem" I said as I sat down in the chair she drew back for me — so kind of her!

"Batula!" She said as she headed towards the way that leads to the kitchen. She had a very strong voice especially when she scream or shout, and even when mourning while we make love. But when speaking calmly to people, her voice could be so very swayful.

I could remember the early days of our union, you could call me her Romeo even though I didn't truly love her but because I was sexually attracted to her. Well that sexual attraction didn't last, that is why it is good to marry someone you truly and sincerely love because there is no way you could ever get bored of making love with the person you truly love. Right now, I felt like reversing the time and rejecting her marriage proposal to me. But wait a minute, if I had rejected her then I wouldn't have get the chance to be the acting CEO of her father's company and even to meet Aliya. God, please what's your plan for me? I mulled over while calmly waiting for my food.

*******

"Oh yes, and I know my husband would love it!" I heard Rahina said as she walked into the living room with Batula trailing her with my supper in a tray, the dishware were all in golden colour or exhibiting such colour in some parts. Rahina loved golden colour a lot. "I am back, my king" She said and then told Batula not to worry about arranging the food that she would do that by herself. "You can go please, I will call you as soon as we are done"

"Okay, Hajiya" The maid bowed and left.

Thus, Rahina served me and began feeding me as she promised. It was a very delicious fried rice with some vegetables and fried chicken. God knows how I loved chicken. "Wanna take some juice?" She asked as she began pouring some juice into a glass cup. Well I nodded my head, hence she sipped a little and then told me to sip through the spot she sipped from – just like in telenovelas and love movies. "Good" She said after I had drank to my satisfaction. "Eat" She said as she took a spoonful of the meal into her mouth, ate half and brought half out. Eww! But I had to eat it because I had no choice. After all, she was only being romantic to me or wasn't she?

"How is Kamal?" I said as soon as the thought of our one and only kid bounced into my head.

"Already in his bed I guess" She said.

"Ma Shaa Allah" I said taking another half spoon of my meal from her, she was gentle.

"Their school is even resuming soon" She said.

"So easily" I huffed thinking how fast time could be, he was now entering nursery 3!

"Wallahi, just like yesterday" She said. And that was how we kept on randomly talking until we were done with the food, thus she called Batula to clear the table. After which we both headed upstairs to our room and observed our missing prayers before retiring for the night.

Yay, another update!

I wanted adding more but I just finished taking my night drugs, and not sleeping would not make the medicine effective. I really appreciate all those that prayed for my jet recovery on WhatsApp. Xoxo💖🌸
