A fresh morning in a hyperactive city Hyderabad. Sun rises its peak. Giving brightness and light heat to everything, trees are shining,. Birds started to chirp by flying up high in the sky and giving a good luck for the day. Fresh breezing air silently moving by the trees. Making leaves falls on the ground and give another task to Miss Rumaisa to clean the mess. By so much huff and annoyance she finally cleaned up the mess and heading to her room. Its not like she did it as a house stuff but she likes to clean by herself not wanting anyone to clean ,as every one in the house are elder than her.
Mrs. Ahmed call her daughter for the breakfast by calling her with a loud voice and said Come dear your breakfast is ready and in any minute it will be cold and as we don't repair our oven. You must be eaten it as cool as it is, said in a light warning tone which implies don't come late for the food.
While climbing the stairs Rumaisa turn around knowing exactly what her mother trying to tell her and with a calm tone she said. I know Ammi and I also knew that you will make my breakfast when I join you on the table.(Wink) because you don't want me to eat cool icy breakfast in this cold weather...just mother's things they forget their own identity by growing us .taking care of us from making mini pony tail to bid bye on our wedding day...and so on....
(Mothers are held in very high esteem in religion Islam. Islam gives mothers a status greater than that can be found in any other religion in the world. Mother is a blessing and a gift from Almighty Allah. The first word a baby utters is Mother in love and calls out loud no matter it is a happy or sad moment of its life. A mother loves her baby without any condition, bears pain with smile and sacrifices everything without any complaint. When the children grow up, it's their responsibility to be kind with their parents, especially to their mother .Muslims are instructed to be kind, obedient and gentle to both parents. One should treat them with respect under all circumstances; obey them unless it is something that Allah (SWT) has forbidden. One should care for them in old age as they care for you as a child and give priority to their orders in all condition)
After eating breakfast all the family members are gather in the hall . Nazia her eldest sister come along with an old album. After taking everyone's attention she open that album each photograph have a load of Memories which can't be forgotten.
AAH !! There is... she said to Rumaisa's elder sister Faizah pointing on photograph which was a childhood picture of Rumaisa and show it to everyone.
Yeah!! Seeing this your Abba felt very happy, Mrs.Ahmed said by seeing on the photograph which has "MR. Ahmed with Rumaisa and Nouman ,Rumaisa on his lap and Nouman on the other side on the mat".
Why Ammi am looking so ugly in this and you said its your and Abba's favorite photograph Rumaisa said in a duh tone.
Mrs. Ahmed said while looking on the photograph." Its was early in the morning your Abba and Noumi came from EID-GAAH (the place where EID salah offer) and taking pictures together so that's your daily time when you wake up and.....Mrs. Ahmed pause for a moment and looking at everyone to grab their full attention and said "you shocked to see Noumi on your Abba's lap giving a picture pose but you came with full anger, picked up a hanger and threaten Noumi that . That's your Abba and you are only his heartbeat no one can sit on his lap except you.
Laughter echoes in the house. She was a really mini mafia don said Nazia in between her laughs and again everyone start laughing and remembering all Rumaisa's stupidy...
While all the house members glued in the Album and remembering all memories.
Slowly Rumaisa take that photograph and went to her room, she lock the door and standing in front of her mirror , give one look at baby Rumi and then look at this new version of the actual Rumi in the mirror.How she changed so much in these years
Thinking MEMORIES are so wonderful. They always with us in every thick and thin situation. If we had a bad day and exhausted with surroundings, we just need to remind our happy moments and suddenly it feels light on our mind and soul.
Memories are another best blessings from the Almighty ALLAH which we humans can't thank enough.
(so which of the favors of your LORD would you deny?) Surah Al Rahman.
