Lucian

Lucian wakes slowly, until he looks at the alarm clock. 11:45. Crap, he wasn't checking his time, and he must have just drifted off. He isn't worried about the girls, though. Dawn would be FAR too excited to sleep, and Mirai is Mirai, punctual as always. He puts his uniform on and flies out the door. As he trots down to the rendezvous point, all his doubt that he's managed to stave off comes flooding into his mind. What is this? A kidnapping? I could be leading all of us to our deaths! We could disappear and no one would either notice or care. That idea brings him little comfort. All he has is Mirai and Dawn, and maybe the captain. If all three of them died, no one would really miss him....

<(NO)>

What? Huh? My mind just went blank. Ow shitttt now my head hurts.

Lucian moves faster and faster towards his target, the darkness seeming like it was closing in around him. It seemed angry. His blonde hair flowing behind him, legs pumping. He checks his watch. 11:56. DAMN IT! He sprints down the hall, seeing the lunch room at the end of the hall.

"Hey, woah! Slow down killer!" Dawn waves him over to a glowing circle in the middle of the floor. Mirai also stands there, hair draped slightly over her eyes. Her stature seems tired and nervous, her hips jutting out, her left knee bent, her hand near her lips...

"Earth to Lucian!" Dawn shouts.

"Jesus Christ, quiet down!" Mirai hisses. "In case you forgot, this isn't technically legal."

"Yeah whatever. Lucian, What do you think we should do?" Dawn asks. Lucian checks his watch. 11:59.

"We wait."
