Dawn

The time is 11:30 PM. The gang is poised outside the barbed wire fence of the agency, waiting for things to lock down so they could invade. "Ok so make this quick" Shaggius recommends. "Make sure to grab your weapons and QUICKLY return here."

"You got it boss." Dawn smiles and salutes. The group leaves and begins running at speeds only brought about by panic and fear but also anticipation and nerves. They dodge between spottily strung together barbed wire fences. Once inside, they stop to catch their breath and make a plan to execute without making any noise.

"We need to head north by northwest until we hit a road that will take us to the edge of the kitchen. We will need to turn left and go on the road in that direction." says Mirai, pointing to the west. "From there, we take a right and go around the corner of the building and stay hidden, hug the wall until the other corner of the building. Then we head south still hugging the edge of the building until we hit a door. I will use my power to hopefully open the lock of the door from the inside. Once inside, we turn left and break into the weapon locker. After that, make a mad dash for the south west fence, and we break through. If we go back through where we came through, they would expect us there with heavy defenses and guards to stop us. So our exit can be different. Then we meet back up with Shaggius in the wasteland. Got it?"

"Holy shit that took forever, let's just get this done ok?" Sawn says.

"Action!" Lucian says with an enthusiastic grin. Dawn looks at Lucian and grins back. Even Mirai can't help but smile at the thought of weapons. They have been taught since day one that weapons are tools to the world and they must be chosen accordingly. Shaggius chuckles at their enthusiasm.

"Choose the weapon and get back here fast. If the one you chose isn't 'the one,' 'm certain we can find it later. Besides, we have been up for 2 days now. I need sleep, and y'all do as well" he says. I can't feel tired now. All the adrenaline that had been coursing through her has kept her going. She has experienced more in the last 48 hours than in her whole lifetime. She even witnessed murder. I bet Lucian is ecstatic. He finally got his wish and escaped! I can't help but be happy for him. Even though I love this change of pace way more than I was anticipating. I'm still in disbelief...

"Dawn?" Lucian calls out. "Kmon lets get going!"

"Stay safe, stay low. Good luck!" Shaggius raises his hand, and points towards a break in the fence. The trio blitzes the fence as quick as they could while staying hidden in the tall grass. No guards anywhere in sight. The fence opening was big enough to fit an old world semi truck through the gap. Lucian lunges forward through the gap and hides on the other side of the fence. Mirai's jaw drops.

"Dude!" whispers Dawn "What the hell, we aren't physical enough to do that!"

"I'm just checking for more guards, you guys can move slower once I check if we are in the clear......... which we are. Come on in" he replies. Dawn and Mirai shuffle through the gate. The trio are safe, and back at the academy.
