A/N: Time for the next chapter, 'Chapter Ι (Iota)'. What will happen to Caenis after he jumped into a Grimm infested area? Find it out in this chapter!

Caenis POV

"You can't defeat me. The god of the sea gave me his powers, you will not stand a chance!"

The first Beowolf attacked me but he immediately found his end after my spear penetrated his stomach and I could feel my strength increasing. The next one was a Borbatusk but its end was as fast as the one of the Beowolf. I pierced its head and quickly pulled out my spear to deflect the incoming attack of another Beowolf. I punched the new Beowolf with my shield and then slashed over the chest of the Grimm. I could feel my strength rising with every Grimm I defeat. Then multiple Creeps tried to attack me but I charged my spear again and unleashed a tempest of water and lighting defeating all of them. I then got hit by a Borbatusk but the damage it caused was minimal thanks to one skill of my semblance which caused me to get stronger and my enemies to get weaker with every hit I cause. Sadly it's only for three minutes but even without this effect, I am strong enough to deal with them.

I defeated every Grimm in the nearby area and made my way to the next area. On my way, I encountered multiple more Grimm like Beowolfs, Ursai, and Borbatusks but in the end, they were no match for me. After some minutes passed I could use the same skill of my semblance again and like in the other area, the Grimm didn't hesitate to attack me.

An Ursa attacked me but he missed. I then slashed his knees which caused the beast to go down and at the same time multiple more Grimm attacked me simultaneously. I used the kneeing Ursa as some kind of jump pad to get into the air. In the air, I used some of the upbuilded strength to rotate like a tornado with my spear directed to the enemy. After that attack, every attacking Grimm was eliminated. I then moved to the next area.

This occurred a few times until I nearly cleaned 1/4 of the City. Just as I was about to go to the plaza where the train crashed, a big Deathstalker came out of one of the sidestreets.

"You want to fight!?"

The Deathstalker growled like he was confirming my assumption.

"Very well!"

The Deathstalker then lifted one of his pincers to attack me. When he brought it down I blocked and slashed it with my spear. After blocking his attack I tried to attack the head but his other pincer blocked my spear, but the effect of the skill of my semblance got still activated. Then the Deathstalker tried to attack me with his sting while protecting his head with his two pincers, a move that you wouldn't see by normal Grimm but I read in one book that the Grimm are able to learn over the time and they become stronger the longer they live and based on the size, the moss on his back and the tactics this Deathstalker uses, he must be a very old one.

When his sting came down I blocked with my shield but I soon had to retreat from this attack even with 60% additional strength for me and 30% less strength for him, his power is still higher than every enemy I had encountered in the arena. Looks like I finally found a challenge. The next move of the Deathstalker surprised me when he punched me with his pincer, as a boxer would do it. I could barely deflect this right hook of him and I could feel the strength that I got is leaving me. Now I have to wait and survive until I could activate it again. He tried to attack me with his pincers and his sting but I was either able to dodge or to block his attacks.

This goes one for several minutes. He attacked me, I dodged, he attacked me, I dodged. I then felt that the cooldown on my skill was over and I used activated it again. This time I attacked my strong opponent as many times as possible to increase my strength. After the 20th attack, he attacked me with his sting but I blocked it with my shield, but this time I could hold up and push the stinger up and then punch the Deathstalker in his face or his head which caused the creature to get stunned.
